Veronica's P.O.V

I woke up to my horrible alarm this morning. It's literally 7 o'clock in the morning. Ugh someone kill me please! I got up, did my normal morning routine and got ready for the day. As I started walking to leave my room, my phone started ringing. My face instantly lit up when I saw who was calling me.

"Hey baby." I said with biggest smile on face.

Oh, hold on! I didn't tell you about my baby?! Oh my bad! Um.. okay, well to start, his name is Jalen. We've been going on 2 years now and I've never been so happy.

"Uh yes, I would love that." I said walking in the kitchen while Tyler is just eyeing me like he's seen an alien. Shirtless. Again.

"Well I'm actually going to a party." I continued on the phone. "Boy shut up! I'll be dancing, not getting pregnant. And you know me, I have my limits." I rolled my eyes as if it weren't obvious. "Hey! That was a rule we both agreed on. You can dance with other girls, and I can dance with other guys, as long as it's just dancing. It's been 2 years come on babe." I said clearly annoyed of his questionning. I mean it ain't the first time, what makes it any different now.

"Yeah, see you soon baby." I then hung up and looked up to Tyler who was probably wondering who I was talking to.

Nosey ass.

"So I see sun kissed beauty got herself a boyfriend. Hmm?" He asked smirking.

"Yes irrelevant white boy. I do."

"How long?" Is he serious? He can't possibly be starting a conversation with me. It's early in the morning and I'm not in a good mood.

"2 years. Why?" I said rolling my eyes.

He held his hands up. "Just tryna make conversation ma'. Damn."

"Anyways I'm going out for a jog. You wanna come?" I asked trying to be polite in hope he would reject the offer.

"Sure, why not?" Dang it.

Tyler's P.O.V

I don't know what it is with women, but I swear  no matter where the location is, they always take an eternity to get ready. I mean we're going for a jog, not the red carpet for crying out loud. Five minutes later, she came out dressed in nike from head to toe.

"It was about time." I said annoyed.

"Yeah, I don't usually take this long. It's 'cause I was debating whether I should go with you or not." She shrugged.

"I'm not even gonna start arguing." I said halfway through the door.

Ten minutes in our jog, I decided to break the silence.

"So Ronnie.." I started.

"Hmm?"

"You got any other nicknames? Or does everyone just call you Ronnie?" I asked hoping to get an answer out of her.

"Pretty much yeah. I can't think of anything else." She continue her jog without looking a bit tired. Impressive. Most girls I know, would have given up just by thinking of taking a jog.

"So whatchu wanna be later on in life?" I tried continuing the conversation.

"Definitely someone important." She said looking a bit sad. I wonder why.
