Eris:

Great, just great. I had a good thing going you know? I had a steady supply of food, the gangs left me alone, and I got a small supply of money from doing odd jobs for one of the nearby mafia families. I finally was getting back on my feet. However, fate had another idea.

The Yin and Yang pin from earlier was now embedded in the flesh of my right palm. A pulsating light emitted from the white parts of the sign, pain coming with the light. I would go to the nearest hospital, that is if I knew where I even was. Which seemed to be a giant swanp

And even if I did know where the heck I was, I wouldn't even have time to go to the hospital, given that a giants reptilian thing is trying to maul me! Great, now I have a headache.

I jump behind a tree just as the seven headed lizard slams into where I was standing just moments ago. My palm started to pulse faster, signalling that where ever I need to go is close. Probably.

The lizard gets up, obviously pissed that I force fed him a mud pie. It lunged at me, and I clenched my eyes shut and put my hands out in front of me like it would make the snake go away. The hissing got louder as the pain got faster and then...

"BOOOM!"

I opened my eyes in shock as a beam of energy emitted from my palm, shooting into three out of seven heads of the beast. My entire right arm tingle like it had fallen asleep, most likely from whatever had happened.

The other four heads were a bit mad that I just obliterated three of their brothers. They swiveled onto me and bared their teeth, while the one on the far left snorted some fire.

It's going to be a long day...

Rebecca:

This sucked. This weird Yin and Yang symbol was engraved into the palm of my left hand. And that wasn't the worst part, the worst part was that the black parts of the symbol was pulsating with a sinister dark light and with the light, came pain.

An explosion rocked the swamp as a loud hiss and a flash of light came from the right. I think that I should go that way, there might be someone over there.

I pushed off from my sitting position and started to jog to where the light came from.

It's going to me a long day...

Eris:

"Hey stupid!" a voice chimed from a tree branch to the left. Both Mr. Hiss and I looked to where the slightly annoying voice came from.

Standing up straight on a tree branch, leaning slightly upon the trunk, was a girl. She had pale skin and black hair. I couldn't see her eyes just yet, but at the moment, we were in a bit of trouble.

Much to my horror she leapt from her vantage point in the tree, towards Mr. Hiss. She dove head first into the maw of the monster. My mouth went dry as I watched the wriggling lump slide down the menace's throat.

Rebecca:

It was hot that's for sure, but for my plan to work I had to operate from the inside. I slid my dagger from it's hiding place under my coat, and dug it into the tough skin of the stomach. The sharp blade struggled to pierce through the slippery material.

I can't kill it if I can't even make a paper cut from the inside!

The hot and humid environment of the stomach sapped my energy. Tired, I put my left hand on the the wall of flesh; the surrounding flesh smoked and blackened, before shrivling up and decomposing.

I crawled through the small hole in the intestines and crawled upwards. Outside of the stomach was cramped and hot. The blood felt like the wrath of a thousand suns. The inside was so hot, the intestines practically steamed with heat.

Eventually, I made it to my objective. Right in front of me, throbbing methodically, was a mass of red flesh.

The heart...

I stabbed it over and over again with my measly little knife. Each little stab made the surrounding environment to rumble and shake. With one last stab the heart stopped moving, and everything went black.

Eris:

After Mr. Hiss fell, I immediately ran to the smoking carcass. I took out my pocket knife and started hacking away at the soft underbelly. I quickly realized that it was bleeding too much for me just to cause. When I finally got through to the intestines, I saw a flash of black hair.

The Girl! I quickly hacked away some more and dragged her out. Third degree burns littered her face and arms. I would treet them later, right now, the most important thing at the moment would be to get out of here.

I raise my eyes to the sky to see a wierd looking temple in the distance. We should get over their.

Rebecca:

When I woke up, I was moving. I groggily opened my eyes to see the dude from earlier carrying me piggy back. I looked up to see an old looking doorway in front of up. Vines crawled up the stone.

"Awake eh?" I voice took me from my thoughts.

"I'm good." my voice came out rough and craggy, like I haven't used it in a while. "How long have I been out?"

"Two days"

"WHAT!" The guy stumbled, and he dropped me uncerimoniosly to the floor...ouch.

"Lets just get inside, I've been carrying you all day." Begrudgedly, I followed him into the temple.

After we started a fire, we heard a voice.

"WHO DARES TRESSPASS THE SACRED TRAINING GROUND?!"

Oh dear...
