Chapter 5

Still Alex's p.o.v

I am walking down the stairs once more and only finding my way through the house by the scents and sounds. I catch the scent of maple and cinnamon again and can't help but try and find the girl that smells so good.

As the scent is getting stronger while I'm walking down the hall way. I stop in front of a door which I'm guessing belongs to her. I knock on it and after the second knock the door flies open and a small beautiful girl with boy cut style golden hair and beautiful sky blue eyes, cute button nose and pale pink lips. I look down and she thin but also has curves in all the right places.

After a few minutes now realizing I'm just checking her out I look up and see she's still looking at me up and down. Her eyes snap to mine once again and she blushes. O.M.Gs she is so adorable when she blushes. I just smirk.

"Uh Hey I just came by to thank you for leaving the clothes." I say with a light grin. She looks away and blushes harder, if that's even possible.

What the hell? I feel weird. What is happening.

First Cindy made me feel this way. Now I check out girls actually more often than I do guys. I think I like girls. No I know I like girls. This is new.

"You're welcome. Umm.. Would you like to come in?" she asks looking down. I grab her chin making her look up at me. It feels like sparks are shooting up my arm when I touch her  "I would love to." I say smiling and that makes her smile. Wow she has the most beautiful smile I've ever seen.

"I'm Alex by the way." I say grabbing her hand then kissing it. Sending the sparks again through my arm then tingles on my face and lips. I know she can feel it too.

"I'm L-lacey." she stutters out and blushes at my gesture. I think my heart stopped beating. Damn. What is she doing to me.

'MATE!' Lucy screams in my head

'Mate? What do you mean mate?' I ask Lucy

'Mate as in soulmate. She is our soulmate our beautiful mate. This is the girl that's supposed to be for me. I'm pretty sure you will have a mate of every creature you are.' Lucy all but yells in my head as I freak out internally.

'How is that possible and what will happen to her if I find another mate?' I ask not wanting to end up hurt my new found mate Lacey.

'I think she will understand but you better not hurt our mate!' Lucy growls at me. Wow that's the first she has ever growled at me. This is surreal.

Lost in my conversation with Lucy I see Lacey trying to get my attention and is inches from my face.

I immediately blush about how close we are and that causes her to blush as well. I clear my throat "Oh um sorry about that. Umm you were saying something."

"Well I asked how old you were and you were lost in thought. Umm what were you doing?" Lacey asks while curiosity sparkles in her beautiful sky blue eyes.

"To your first question I am 10 and how old are you?" I ask

"What?! You're only 10 but you're so tall I thought your were at least 12 or 13. And I'm 11." she replies.
