===================================The beginning of September====

Alex's pov

"Why!? Why do I have to go to school!?" I asked extremely annoyed at Alpha Kev and I see Luna Clare looking very amused.

"We would like you to experience something normal in life and that is school." Alpha Kev says with a caring smile.

"Ok. For one: I an not normal. I don't even look remotely normal. Two: It is pointless because I already know everything that is taught in that school because if you haven't notice about every teacher in that school is in our pack. And they have assessed me and verified that I'm at college level. And three: I'm already the odd one out amongst werewolves, let alone with humans. This is ridiculous." I explain still annoyed but calmed by familiar hands rubbing my back.

"Alex, we know and you're right it kind of is ridiculous but we just don't want you kept up in the house all the time." Luna Clare says turning me into her hug. *sigh* it was an awesome hug.

"Well there's not much a 10 year old can do and plus I am working on a project right now and I don't want it to be disrupted." I say into her shirt because I didn't want to let go of our hug. But she does anyway.

I groan and causes her to giggle at me. *sigh* "What is this project of yours?" Alpha Kev asked.

"I'm building a car for Danny boi's birthday. He's been a good guy and even greater warrior. He has excelled past my first expectations. He has earned it." I explain with pride of my knight and bestfriend.

"Ooh what kind of car is it?" Luna Clare asked.

"That is a surprise. No one must know but I. I don't want his surprise ruined." I say and wink at them. And they just laugh at me.

"Alex, I understand but-" Alpha Kev starts but I cut him off.

"I'm sorry but no. I am not attending school especially at the grade that's appropriate for my age. I am smarter than a 5th grader and that is that." I say ending the discussion.

=====================================Early the next morning======
================================

"ALEX!!!" I wake abruptly from my sleep to the sound of someone screaming my name from down stairs. Without a second thought I bolt down stairs still in my sports bra and boxers I sleep in to see what is happening.

"What!? What's wrong!? Is everyone ok!?" I ask frantically while ready to punch something.

I look and it's just Alpha Kev and Luna Clare smiling at me while the others were just staring at me, well staring at my body mostly. And it's nothing really new to me because when ever I'm training or just working out, I take my shirt off but this is new to them because I have a lack of pants on.

"Ah Alex you're up great. Now go get ready." Alpha Kev tells me

"Uuhh why? And why was someone screaming? I was ready to kill something." I whine the last part and that got me some giggles and few stared in horror.

"Just go get ready. It's a surprise." Alpha Kev said smiling.

"You do know if this is your way of tricking me to go with you just so you can drop me off at school, its not gonna work." I say flatly.
