Gradient POV
I woke up and got ready for school my twin brother and best friend Paper Jam still sleeping. I woke him up. We were in third grade and our teacher was VERY strict. If we were late. Detention. If we were missing an assignment. Detention. If we get caught fooling around. You guessed it. Detention. Pj got ready and we went downstairs for breakfast. Our mom was up making us breakfast. Our mom was kind she never yelled she never got that mad at us. Sometimes she cries a lot when our dad is gone for more than a few days on a business trip or something like that. My dad came downstairs and made coffee. He kissed moms cheek and hugged us then left. After breakfast we went to school and sat down in our seats. During lunch I went outside to think as I always do. Some kid came up to me. "Hey look it's a monster." He said to his friends. They laughed. The kid picked me up by the shirt and threw me at a wall. My skull cracked and started bleeding. I fell to the ground and he kicked my ribs and face. One of my ribs shattered and my mouth was bleeding. He stepped on my arm as I passed out.

Paper Jam POV
Lunch was almost over and I hadn't seen Grey anywhere. I went to look for him outside. I saw him on He floor bleeding badly. My eyes widened as I started to cry. I ran to him and called mom. "Pj? Pj what's wrong?" She asked. "G-grey...h-Hale's passed out on the sidewalk and b-bleeding badly" I say as I'm sobbing. "What!? Dear god...pj stay right there I'm coming!" She said and hung up. I cried more as I looked at my brother. He was my best friend. I cried harder as I thought about what could happen. He could turn to dust at any minute. All of a sudden mom came and picked Grey up.

Inks POV
I held my son in my arms as I teleported the three of us to science sans. He saw Gradient and immediately took him to a hospital room Pj fallowing. I called Error. "E-error..." I said as I started crying. "Sweetheart What's wrong?" He asked. "G-gradients in the hospital p-please...come quickly..." I said in between sobs. He teleported to me and hugged me. "Shhh shhh it's ok everything will be ok" He said in a calming voice as he rubbed my back.
