Campaign 0.1: We Care

W H A T   W E   D O  :

In today's time, there are several new issues that didn't surface before but are now grasping people especially the teenagers. They slowly suffocate the youth like a skilled cobra asphyxiating it's prey much to the non- awareness of their own parents. As a result, the world's highest depression, suicide, and cyberbullying rates are being formed by the teenagers. Parents and teachers fail to understand and educate kids and forget to connect with them. Peer's do the rest of the job by guiding these confused souls, which they too are a part of, into the wrong direction and the entire teen population suffers.

Out of every ten girls I meet, only one stands up for themselves, only one displays courage and self-respect. The rest are too scared or oblivious to try anything. Out of every ten boys I meet, only one knows masculinity is not refusing to wear pink or wolf whistling at girls but letting the lady walk in a crowded place first or standing up and saying 'no' when a woman is being harassed. The other's are too busy, not caring.

It's time parents, teachers, guardians and adults opened their eyes to the new world and start addressing issues like bullying, suicide, child depression, gender equality with the importance they deserve and open their minds to lgbtq+. They're human beings with a soul and a heart that pumps blood just like they do for you. It's not their fault that god put them in the wrong body. They don't deserve the bullshit and the emotional harassment that they face every day. Just for one day imagine being in their shoes and then imagine them saying the same things that you tell them. I guarantee you, you won't last more than a minute, yet these brave souls do it every single day of their lives and are still proud of themselves. How many of you can say that for yourself? And all this while, all they wanted was a friend.

At WE CARE, we do just that - be a friend, understand you and try to help you. We do not disclose your identity so you can be assured that no one would come to know what you're going through until that's what you want. We supply you with articles, poems, quotes and short stories that inspire, motivate and explain what exactly each issue deals with so that there is no room for doubt. Our volunteers are called Angels and they are divided into teams based on how much time and effort they can put in.

I want people to know that we at, We Care we don't pretend to know everyone and everything. We're here to listen to you and understand you. Sometimes that's all one needs. The joy of knowing you helped someone, made them smile or inspired them to just take one more chance at life is unimaginable. Trust me. I would know. At the end, I'd leave you with one thought. What if you could help save one life? Wouldn't you want that?

W H A T   W E   W A N T   T O   A C H I E V E  :

We have two main objectives. 

1.) To create awareness and provide information on topics that people are usually not very comfortable talking about and ones that are becoming a serious issue
in today's world.

2.) To be a friend, a listener, or a helping hand to anyone who seeks acceptance. We will listen to all you have to say and give you advice that best suits your situation while promising your complete confidentiality.

Our books aim to provide the Wattpaders with a place they can come to during any situation. We will be having various articles that help people understand and be informed about what it is they're fighting for/against. We aim to motivate and inspire people to stand strong.

W H O   R U N S   O U R   C A M P A I G N  :

The campaign was founded by our Guardian Shepherd, Mimi, a year back and is managed by our Archangels, Adrian, Whitney, and Tiara. They are assisted by an amazingly hardworking and dedicated team of volunteers that work day and night from all around the world. We believe diversity and uniqueness are the pillars of an open-minded and successful organization. For this reason, our volunteers, known as angels, are from countries all over the world like Australia, Pakistan, Ireland, United States and many more places.
