That funeral was the one thing I couldn't get out of my head for almost a year..I still think of it sometimes.
After the speech, I immediately drove home alone. Hours had past and the sun had fallen and Jordan had never came home. I hadn't expected her too, but soon enough I had let days go by and there still wasn't a sign of Jordan, not since the funeral. Not since my speech. Not since that day..No calls, no messages, anything. By then it had been a full month since I had ever seen J. And didn't know what to think, what to expect. Considering since I didn't go to jail since Corbin's family were 'forgivers' of their killer. I hadn't let my eyes see sunlight for a complete month, saying inside the house waiting for her to come home
But she never did..
*ring* *ring* *ri-
"Hello..."
"Abelxo."
"J--Jordan!"
My voice uplifted at the sound of her warm voice..
"Yes."
"W-where are you?! Baby..I missed you. Come home, I'm so sorry that I-"
"You broke my heart Abelxo."
" J--"
The sound of a click ended the conversation and once again I was alone to wait. And I didnt hear from her until a year later..
