millie skipped down the school hallway, smiling and humming a tune.
today was going to be great. rowland was already jealous of her and finn's relationship, so perhaps he'd come running back to her today.
"Oh baby, please, just give me one more chance." he'd beg of her.
of course, millie would shut him down, and remind him of how awful he was.
she smirked at the thought. oh yes, it would go as planned. everything would. then-
millie's thoughts were interrupted by a pair of hands covering her sight.
she smiled, then sighed. "alright mr. dogsoft."
the hands were taken away from her face as the one and only 'finn wolfhard' appeared in her line of vision.
"good morning, millie."
"why good morning, fake-boyfriend."
finn chuckled at the new nickname.
"ready to fool that son of a gun rowland?" he asked, as they walked to their lockers together.
"more ready than ever." millie replied, excitement audible in her voice.
"he was pretty surprised yesterday."
"yeah, i know. his face was priceless. who knows? perhaps he'll come running back to me today."
as if on cue, rowland appeared.
finn and millie made eye contact then went into action.
