You Cant Run Forever Part-1

We start to walk towards the main stage were Dr Harrison Wells was.
"Hello" he starts. "My name is Dr Harrison Wells, and today is the day that the particle excel orator is going to be activated." He says and everyone cheers. "Me and my team have been working on this for a very long time." He adds. "And in 10 seconds it will be powered up."
"10....9....8....7.....6....5....4....3....2....1...0" everyone counted down.

There was a short pause and then suddenly there is a raw.
"And that everyone was the particle Excel orator powering up," he adds. He then turn and walks back into s.t.a.r labs, as everyone cheered and left. "Hay my purse" shouted a woman.
Then there was silence and out of no where it started to rain. I turn around and start to run after the man. I catch up to him and tackle him to the ground. "that is not yours man why don't you just give me the laptop and i wont call the cops," i say as i try to take the laptop off of him. suddenly his arm swings and hits me in the face and everything goes black. I wake up to have Iris in my face. "oh my god Barry are you OK?" she asks. 

"where did he go, where did the thief go"

"Barry calm down.." she says trying to calm me down 

"i have to get back to CCPD i told Joe i would finish my cases after the accelerator went on line" i say as i get up and leave. 

"Barry i am coming with you i have to make sure that you are OK and i don't want you to be alone" says Iris as i start to walk to CCPD.  

when we get there the doors are unlocked as most had gone home due to the weather. I open the door and  hold the it open and let her through. I follow  her through and then lock the door.

we then walk up to my lab and walk in. we walk in and there is water all over the floor. i look up and the roof hatch is open. i walk over to it and pull down on the chain. "hey can i have some help with this please?" i ask.

"hang on I have got to go see if my dad is still here I need to tell him something" she says walking out.

I walk over to the chain and pull down on it. I can't look up as when I do water splashes on my face.
