This is for all those who have been wondering or asking about updates.

My next scheduled update is for the newly uploaded story "Making the Change," which, truthfully, should have been uploaded weeks ago if not for circumstances beyond my control.

الحمد لله على كل حال

Last month I came down with something I assumed to be a cold, which I thought I had caught from a child seated across from me from the school I work at. However, it did not get better. Instead, it got worse; and at some point, I found myself having extreme breathing difficulties.

I was diagnosed with pneumonia and I was admitted into the hospital. I was there for almost 20 days. I lost count of the hundreds of tests they ran. I was finally discharged on Tuesday. My lungs are still slightly weak from dependency on oxygen, but they're getting stronger alhamdulillah.

I wasn't able to write much in the hospital of course, and I also missed my midterms and have to make them up. I was halfway through editing the chapter at the time I got sick, and I have now resumed. Since I also have to study for my makeup exams, I only have a limited time I can dedicate to editing.

Inn sha Allah, I am hoping, it will be done before the end of next week.
