Today was the day of their engagement, and my face looked exactly like a person who stayed up and cried all night, which is exactly what i did. The pain in seeing your love marrying someone else is so hurtful. I couldnt stand in the same room as them, i just couldnt.
I had to let go of him for once and for all. I needed to forget him. I was ready to face it all, but was sure that i would break up into pieces in the end. I started getting ready for the engagement ceremony... at that moment Cass enters the room.. "Heyy Jan!! i have some amazing news!" "What is it ?!" "Ok so........i have decided to have my marriage ceremony today itself. No one knows about it except you, its going to be a suprise for all !!!" That was the exact time my heart started burning into ashes. I wanted to crash down crying but i couldnt. I wanted to run away but i couldnt, i was just stuck to that place with no place or way to escape. I showed her my fake smile and happiness, what else was i supposed to do ? She left the room with a bright and glowing smile, i just let out all my emotions after she left.
After a few minutes, i gathered myself i started getting ready for the suprise ceremony.

I was all set to attend the dreadful ceremony. On the way i met Cass's mom who asked me to go check on Ray, she walked off before i could say a no.
I slowly walked into his room only to see him ready,but with a sad smile on his face. I knocked on the door to get his attention, immediately he turned around to see the person. "Oh hey Jan! " "Hey! Big day huh? All set ?" He just gave me a weak smile. "What happened?" "Nothing" "Is it the wedding gitters?" I joked "No! Im just not getting the happiness a person gets on the day of their marrige!" I didnt know what to say for a second. "Umm....its the nervousness thats talking now ....everything will be fine." "Hmm...ok...wait ! Can you help me with this bowtie ?" "Uhh..yea sure" I went close to him but tripped on something and fell on him, he caught me so i was fine except for the fast heartbeats! I started working on the bowtie but i could feel him staring at me. I tried finishing it as soon as i could. "Wow! Thankyou so much Jan!" I blushed a little "Your welcome" i gave a warm smile. I left the room but before leaving i heard him say something like, " why did you reject me Jan!" Under his breath.
