Adopted by Rascal Flatts

Chapter 2

Brittany's POV. After Rascal Flatts showed us around and we finished unpacking, I laid on my bed, its so comfortable. I got up and went to find one of the Rascal Flatts members. I found jay on the couch watching a show. "Hey Jay what are you watching?" I asked "American horror stories why?" Jay asked. "Because I have a question for you." I said "Ok, what is it?" Jay asked "Can I go swimming?" I asked "Do you know how to swim?" Jay asked. "Yes sir." I said "OK, then you can go." Jay said "Thank you Jay." I said. "Your welcome Brittany." Jay said. I went outside and jump in the pool and I didn't even realize that Gary was watching me and jump in after me. We came back up and out of the water and Gary starts screaming and freaking out and then he fainted. Jay and Joe Don came out and started freaking out also and saw Gary and Joe Don try waking up Gary. "Your a mermaid and didn't tell us, why?" Jay asked "Because if I told you guys, I thought you will treat me differently." I said. "We will never treat you differently, we will love you and Sherri no matter what. Right Joe Don?" Jay said. "Right." Joe Don said.

30 minutes later, Gary wakes up "What happened?" Gary asked "You saw Brittany as a mermaid and then you scream and freaked out and then, you fainted." Jay said "oh ok." Gary said. As they were talking I dried my tail and after they were done talking we went inside and Gary started to talk. "Why didn't you tell us you were a mermaid?" Gary asked. "Because she didn't want us to treat her differently." Jay said. "Oh ok and we are never going to treat you differently we are going to love you and Sherri no matter what." Gary said. "I know, Jay told me." I said. Next thing I know. Sherri came downstairs. "Hey Rascal Flatts tomorrow is our birthday can we go bowling please?" Sherri asked "Sure and happy early birthday girls." Rascal Flatts said at the same time.

The next day, Brittany's POV at 10:30 am. I heard Rascal Flatts say happy birthday to Sherri, and the next thing I know Rascal Flatts came into my room, and they said hurry up we are going bowling in an hour. We ate breakfast and then I went up to my room and put on my Rascal Flatts dress. I went downstairs and I saw Sherri wearing her flower dress. "You girls look so pretty." Gary said. "Thank you Gary." Me and Sherri said at the same time. An hour later, we left the house. 10 minuets later, we are at the bowling place. We went in and pay for 3 rounds and then we played 1 round and then an hour later we had cake which said happy birthday Sherri. She opened her presents and then we played a second round of bowling. Gary went first and then Joe Don went next and Jay went last and he missed. "Poor Jay you will get it next time." Sherri said "I know." Jay said and then Jay sat down right next to me and whispered in my ear. "Are you ok Brittany?" Jay asked me "Yeah I'm ok. What about you, are you ok?" I asked. "Yeah I'm fine, you just seem quite." Jay said. "Yeah I'm just really excited about today." I said "Oh ok and if you have anything in mind you want to tell me or Joe Don or Gary, you can tell us, you know that, right?" Jay said. "Yeah I know." I said. An hour later we left and went home.
