Shyla’s POV:

Great job Ringo, you spoiled the moment! As he dragged George away, I waved bye and he smiled and waved back. I felt my heart skip, doing a jig from inside my chest. If that’s what love feels like no wonder Cleo wants a taste.

Truth be told, I have always been jealous of Cleo. She’s famous within our state, she’s pretty and she can get any guy she wants. It’s as if nothing bad can ever happened to her.

Oh, but something did.

How could he cheat on her? Having a famous beauty wasn’t enough, he had to go out and get himself some beach blond tramp? Who knows if that was the first girl either, he could have a line of mistresses that Cleo never knew about. He married her for her money I bet, I decided.

I went into the living room and for the first time since she figured out about Riplee, she looked happy. She was pretty much glowing with happiness. She looked at me, Tessa and Calvyn. “You girls want to go out?” she asked.

“I’m not a girl,” Calvyn replied.

“You are when you’re with us,” Tessa told him.

We all laughed and left to go somewhere.

George’s POV:

Once we got to the hotel room I picked up the phone. I remember Paul and John didn’t plan on leaving for Paris for about a week. Please pick up, I prayed as I dialed Paul’s number in the phone. “I’m jumping into the shower,” Ringo told him. The salt of the ocean has dried their hair and made it stick out in strange places. I nodded and he headed into the bathroom.

Paul picked the phone up. “Hello?” he asked.

“Paul!” I cried. “It’s George.”

“Oh hey George, how’s Australia?”

“It’s good, but we have more important things going down here.”

“Like what?”

I told him every detail, leaving nothing out. “I think he forgot all about Maureen,” I told Paul.

“Maybe it’s for the best, I mean, she’s just 17 and he’s 23. Bit of an age gap there.”

“Yeah, but she’ll be devastated.”

“She’ll get over it. If Rings really loves this girl, let him love her instead of him having a fickle heart with Maureen.”

“True…. Also I met a girl.”

Paul sighed. “What’s with you two and Australian girls?”

“Her accent is adorable, and so is her voice.”

“Ask her out then.”

“I will. Just wanted to talk to you. Later Paul.”

“Later Harry,” with that he hung up. Why must he call me Harry? Harrison I can stand, Harry is a no. I thought. The bathroom door opened and Ringo came out, hair wet and a towel around his waist. “You’re turn,” he stated.

I jumped in the shower, did what I needed and got dressed. I came out and Ringo was already in bed with the lamp on his side of the room turned off. I lay down in my bed and throw a pillow at him. He grunts in reply and I ask “Rings, what are you going to do about Maureen?”

He sat up, threw the pillow back at me and said “I didn’t give it much thought. Probably just break up with her. I have to admit, it’s kind of awkward dating a 17 year old.”

“Haven’t noticed.”

“Don’t get cheeky with me Harrison or I’ll slap that cheek of yours.” He lay back down in his bad and said “Just go to sleep.”

Calvyn’s POV:

After Ringo’s visit Cleo was oddly… happy. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad she’s happy, but what happened between them in the first time? I hope they remember couples break up for a reason, and they broke up for one.

Plus, I’m not letting anyone hurt Cleo anymore. If I have to tell the truth here, I fell in love with her a year ago around the time she moved in. Her husband wasn’t there, so I figured she was single. I learned the hard way.

Now that she’s single, I’m not letting her be taken by some band member.

I’ll fight if I have to.

No one is taking Cleo from me.
