Miracle sat on the bench outside with her two friends Tyla and Ayshia with her eyes glued to her phone.

This was the usual routine for the whole hood in the summer, but with Joshua gone, Miracle didn't even feel right.

Usually, she would sit outside and watch Jay and his friends hoop, but now nothing was the same

She rolled her eyes at Jayana, the hoe of the hood as she walked towards her with a phony smile.

"Hey Mir-mir" Jayana waved, causing Miracle and her group of friends to turn their face up at the nickname she'd just given her.

"Bitch, you know me a' somein'?" Miracle spoke, allowing the thickness of her accent to flow.

"Yeah silly" Jayana dramatically yelled causing Miracle to roll her eyes.

"Bitch we ain't friends" Miracle waved her off, watching as she stomped away.

"Hey Gee" she heard her giggle with a flirtatious wave. Miracle looked up at the familiar looking guy. She eyed his appearance and mentally slapped herself for not knowing who he was the night she spotted him at the club.

No, him and Jay weren't best friends or nothing, but they hung around the same crowd so they were cordial

She also knew that he had some type of crush on her, almost everyone knew, but that's just not the kind of news that would excite a female like her the only thing that could excite her, was Joshua himself and that alone took a lot of work.

She wasn't the type of female to settle for less, and Joshua was the one that gave her everything plus some.

From the moment he spoke to her, she couldn't help but to fall in love, it was just the type of effect he had on females, but what they didn't have, was the effect to make him fall in love too, that's something that she had.

Miracle looked up at the forming rainbow as a smile formed on her face.

She knew Jay was looking down on her, and he didn't want her to just sit around and be lonely waiting for something that would never be again them

It was impossible, he was gone and he wasn't coming back. But he would forever be her everything, and nobody could take his spot, that's something she knew for sure.

Miracle

"Bitch look at them" Aysha pointed towards a group of boys.

I took a quick look up from my phone, before shrugging and looking back down.

"Cool" I responded as her and Tyla conversed about the group.

"He fine as fuck" Tyla smirked looking at the figure who soon approached us.

His dark shadow covered the sunlight causing me to look up at him.

"Do you mind?" I rolled my eyes confused as to who he was and what he wanted with me.

"Damn my bad ma', thought I'd just come holla' atchu since you was eyeing me down at the club the otha' day" he smirked at me causing me to mug my face up.

You stare at a nigga for three seconds and they get to thinking they somebody.

"Yeah, you looked familiar, now I see why." I shrugged looking back down at my phone.

"How bou-" he started, but stopped in the middle of his sentence as he stared behind me as if he'd seen a ghost.

"GARRETT WHY THE FUCK YOU UP HERE TALKING TO THIS HOE!" I heard in the distance causing me to chuckle.
