"Ma'am, here are some papers- Chloe?!" She yelled. I looked up and glared at her.

"Charlotte?!" I yelled.

"What are you doing here?!" She yelled.

"I could ask you the same thing." I said. She was glaring daggers to me.

"Well, me first." I said.

"I am the new CEO of About the Fit. And happens to be the best designer in the world." I said.

She looked at me and I nodded my head at her.

"Your turn." I said.

"Well, I work here and I am an employee of...yours." She said.

"Well then, Charlotte. You may go back to your corner and just leave the papers here." I said while patting my desk gesturing her to put the papers there.

"And remember. I am still your boss, and I control you." I said calmly.

She walked to my desk and left the papers on my desk. Before she left my office, she glared at me and I smiled at her. She huffed and left.

When she left, I continued my work. I looked at the papers she left and studied them.

Then, my door swung open. I saw Valerie holding flowers and chocolates.

"Ma'am-" She said then I cut her sentence.

"Call me Chloe." I said to her and saw her eyes lit up.

"Okay, Chloe. Someone brought you flowers and chocolates." She said.

"Who did?" I asked.

"There's no name, Chloe." She said.

"Okay then. Thank you!" I said. I took the flowers and chocolates from Valerie then she left.

There was a card. It said:

Day 1 of courting you.

Dear Chloe,
What beautiful flowers! But you're more beautiful. Chocolates are sweet, but the thought of the two of us together is sweeter.

Your secret admirer

I thought what this guy did was sweet. He knows my favorite chocolate. Mmm mm! Chocolates!

After work, I was so tired. I needed to go around the building and greet everybody so that they know me.

It was 5:00 o'clock. I went to my car and remembered something.

My date with Andrew!

I went to the house and saw the kids getting off the school bus. I parked my car and saw the kids.

"Hey, kiddos!" I said. They looked at me and smiled

"Hey, mommy!" Ashley said.

"Hello!" Justin said.

"Let's go inside?" I said to them. They nodded at me. When I opened the door, the twins ran inside. I called Michelle to watch the twins.

"Hello?" She said.

"Hey, Michelle. Can you watch the twins tonight? I have to go somewhere." I said.

It took a few seconds for her to reply. I became nervous because she might not accept.

"You bet!" She said.

"Can you come at 6?" I asked.

"I can come now." She said.

"Sure. Thanks!" I said.

"Anytime."

The line went silent when we hung up.

I ran to the twins and saw them studying. I watched them silently and grinned to myself.

They were so cute!

"Okay, so 5 x 2 is equals to 10?" Justin asked. Ashley smiled at him.

"Yes! That's correct!" She said. Justin grinned and they hugged each other.

"Thanks. You're the best twin ever." Justin said. Ashley smiled.

"You too."

I went to them and when they saw me, they smiled at me.

"Hi, kiddos." I said.

"Hi, mommy!" They said in unison. I love it when they do that.

"So, I have to go somewhere and Michelle will watch over you. Is that okay?" I said. They nodded at me.

"Okay, kids." I said. They ran to me and hugged me.

"You're the best mom ever." Ashley said.

"We love you, mommy!" Justin said.

"Yeah!" Ashley agreed.

"Okay, kids I have to get ready, okay?" I said.

"Okay, mommy." They said again in unison.

I left the room then the doorbell rang.

Ding dong...

"Hold on!" I shouted.

Ding dong...
Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!
Ding dong...

Why is Michelle so impatient? I opened the door to see someone unexpected.
