Ch. 21: Will you...?

Lilly's POV:

It has been 8 years since my dad decided to legally adopt me, I'm now 24 years old, Dad is now 30, Hayes is now 25 and we're still dating, everyone made great progress in life

Dad has gained a lot of popularity and is now in great movies, he's now married to Amber

The rest have been in many music videos, some are married and some are engaged, but I haven't seen them in a while now, I don't even know if they miss me or not

I've been making a lot of songs and Hayes has been acting in many movie rolls, I don't understand why Hayes doesn't want to get married, he never proposed to me, and I'm ready to get married

Hayes and I graduated 2 years ago, we both got accepted in Harvard which is great because it has been of ours for such a long time

I woke up to the sound of knocking on my door

"Come in babe," I yelled out

"Hey, gorgeous, let's hang out tonight, I really want to take you out, I even got you a dress for the occasion" said Hayes

"Hey, babe, that's so sweet of you, of course" I replied back

"Alright, I made crepes, they're downstairs" said Hayes

"Okay, babe, I love you too much" I said

"That's impossible because I love you way more" said Hayes

I chuckled, he then came and kissed me passionately just like every morning, we decided to move in together once we were done with college, we're so happy together it's unbelievable

He then left, I went downstairs to the kitchen and ate the crepes with Hayes, he's an amazing chef

"So, we're leaving at 7:30 pm, is that okay for you?" he asked

"Of course, but where are we going?" I asked

"It's a surprise" he said smiling

"Okay" I said, I was getting really nervous because he makes great surprises, he took me to so many places we never repeated a location to a date

Hayes's POV:

I'm taking Lilly to where we went to on our first date, the park. I'm proposing to her, I want to spend the rest of my life with her, I love her so much I don't want to ever lose her, she's been always there with me whenever I needed her the most

*skip to 4:30 pm*

Lilly's POV:

I went to the bathroom and did my bathroom routine, I then went to the bedroom to get dressed, I opened the box that Hayes got me earlier as a gift since he wanted me to open it, I reached out to grab the dress, It was... the same dress that I wore on our first date?! But, how, and why? he got it in a bigger size considering that old dress doesn't fit me anymore. That's so sweet, I can't believe he actually remembered the dress that I wore

I wore the dress then wore the same makeup that I wore on our date, he also got me the same shoes but in a different size, I then got my purse and went downstairs

Hayes's POV:

Last night, while I was doing the final touches for the proposal, I decided to get a tuxedo that is similar to the one I wore in our first date, I wore that then went downstairs

I look down to see Lilly looking as beautiful as I can remember

I held my hand to my heart

"You look... gorgeous, just like on our first date" I said
