Previously on Big Brother Teens, after a turbulent week, Aria was finally evicted by a unanimous vote. Following the eviction, Kyle won HoH and had plans to take out the, according to him, annoying couple of Emma and Liam. Valerie, however, didn't like this plan, since she would have to risk being on the block against Emma in the vote since Liam is Kyle's partner. Everything rides on the POV this week. Who will win it? And will they use it to put Kyle's master plan in motion? Find out now on Big Brother Teens!

After the nomination ceremony, an annoyed Valerie went up to the HoH room to talk to Kyle. "Hey," she said, "I know this is your week and all, but I really would like it if you didn't backdoor Emma. I just really don't wanna risk going up this early in the game, you know? The whole Aria thing happened and she was sent home, and I don't wanna be in a position where that can happen to me." Kyle rolled his eyes and said, "Yes, I know you don't want it to happen, but I need it to happen. This is my HoH week, and I decide who goes up in which situation. The only way you can save yourself is to get picked for the Veto and win it. If you don't, I'm sorry but you are going up and we are sending Emma home." Valerie got up and walked out, saying, "You are burning bridges that don't need to catch fire this early, dude."

Valerie: At this point, I didn't even wanna argue with Kyle. The only way I am making it in this game is if myself, Talon, or Tristen wins this Veto. Then Harold and Michael stay on the block and I don't even have to worry about possibly going home.

In the backyard were Marina, Heather, Liam, Emma, and Michael. The five of them were chatting about their lives back home, when Valerie walked out. "Oh God help us," Emma muttered. She sat down with them, and everyone got quiet. "Why'd the conversation stop?" Valerie asked. Emma rolled her eyes and said, "Honestly because you came." Valerie got up from where she was sitting and went into the cabana room with Talon and Tristen. "I am just so on edge," she said to them with a huge sigh. Tristen gave her a hug and said, "Who isn't? I mean, Kyle is the shiftiest person in the house and now he's HoH. Anything can happen this week. We just need to make sure one of us wins the Veto." They crossed their fingers in hopes for it and started generally chatting.

That evening, Kyle came out of the Diary Room with the bag to pick players for the Veto competition. "Who's ready to pick players for the Veto competition?" he called out to the others. Everyone clapped and did the usual, walking to the living room and sitting down. "As Head of Household, myself and my partner will compete in the Veto competition. Along with this, the nominated partnership, Harold and Michael, will compete. Also, one partnership will be randomly selected to compete," he explained to them. The nominees joined him up front, as he reached into the bag. He pulled out a piece and read, "Talon and Tristen." The two joined him and he continued. "I also have been tasked with choosing a host for the Veto competition, and I have chosen... Valerie!" Valerie smiled and thanked him. "Big Brother will inform us when it is time to compete," he finished off.

Kyle: I thought maybe having Valerie host the competition would be consolation for her not playing and possibly going up after this. I just don't understand why she's so paranoid about it.

After picking players, Valerie went into the cabana room and met with Talon and Tristen. "So you guys are 100% not using the Veto if you win, right?" she asked them. They assured her that they wouldn't, and she calmed down a bit. "Well at least two out of six won't use it. I just really don't wanna go in, it's like, I don't wanna be Aria'd," she explained, "I don't wanna have that stress and worry on me." Talon told her, "I know what you mean. I wouldn't wanna go up as a pawn because pawns do go home in some cases. Aria was put up as a pawn and she went home." They made a pact to her about fighting their hardest for the Veto.

Liam and Emma walked into the HoH room, holding hands. As they were headed to Liam's suite, Kyle rolled his eyes, catching the attention of Emma. "What's your problem?" Emma asked him. Kyle pointed at their locked hands, "That. And it's not my problem. It's everyone's problem. No one likes this whole dating what have you, and that's why I'm approached by everyone requesting for me to backdoor you." Emma rolled her eyes and went on, but Liam stayed, ready to defend her. "Look bro, we're enemies for a reason, but I am willing to take this to another level. You're not gonna come here and have conversations about how you want to backdoor Emma because of our relationship and try to make us feel bad for liking each other. You wanna do that, you can leave and go back to our high school because you're just like the douchebags you talk about how much you hate all the time," he retorted. Kyle angrily clenched his fists. "You're gonna get out of here, right now," he said through clenched teeth. Liam rolled his eyes and walked past Kyle, going into his suite to meet Emma. Kyle slammed his fist against the wall and went into his room, putting his earphones on.

Marina, Heather, Michael, and Harold sat together in the Have Not room, where Michael was trying to take some of the water out of the room. "I think we should game talk," Harold said. The other three agreed and sat on the chairs. "So I'm thinking about Thursday when the Golden Keys are done and we all compete for HoH. I'm not sure what it'll be, but the four of us are pretty well-rounded. That could be grounds for a final four alliance once Michael and I get off the block?" Harold proposed. Heather worriedly said, "I mean, I think this could work, but I have to think about it, you know? I don't wanna get in alliance right now that you're on the block and I'm not even competing." Harold assured her it was okay, and they separated and went on.

Heather: I didn't wanna get into that alliance, especially with the solid one I am in with Talon, Tristen, and Valerie.

Harold: What the hell is wrong with Heather? Even if you're not gonna be committed to an alliance, you never turn one down because that makes you a target to the other members.

The next morning, the time for the Power of Veto competition came. The competitors went outside and stood before Valerie holding a laminated sheet of paper. "Welcome to the POV competition! In this challenge, you will be tethered up on a bungee cord, and you have to go from platform to platform, one side having puzzle pieces, and one side having a puzzle board. You will grab one piece at a time and go from platform to platform and solve this puzzle. First to do so will win the Power of Veto!" she explained to the group. Everyone took their spots at the starting platform, and when they were started off, they all grabbed a piece and jumped off. They fell 20 feet and had to grab on to a bar to stop bouncing. The first person to get a piece on was Talon, who just threw it on randomly.

Talon: My strategy is to get all of my pieces on to my board and then worry about solving it afterwards.

The competitors continued on, some people solving as they went, some solving once they got all of their pieces on. Being a big puzzle guy, Harold took a lead. He had all 30 pieces and was now solving it. He had half of his pieces in place, and had about a six piece lead on Talon, who was in second place. However, Talon was making good time and closing the gap between him and Harold. In the end, it was just a race to place their pieces down. They were both making good time, and soon someone finished and rang in. "Congratulations Harold, you have won the Power of Veto!" Valerie called out, fake excitedly. She placed the medallion around his neck, rolled her eyes, and walked away. Harold excitedly held his medallion and received hugs from everyone.

That evening, the Veto meeting came along. "This week, Kyle has nominated myself and Michael for eviction. However, I have won the Power of Veto, and the opportunity to save us from the block. I have decided to use the Veto on us. Because of this, Kyle, you must nominate another duo for eviction," Harold excitedly said. Kyle sighed and stood up before everyone and said, "I am so sorry to do this, but I'm gonna renominate Emma and Valerie. Emma, you are in a showmance that proves to be a threat and I don't want that kind of pressure dealing with it. Valerie, you are strictly a pawn, so don't worry." With that, the Veto meeting was adjourned.

What will happen next time on the first double eviction of the season? Also, will the house stick to their words and keep Valerie in the house? Find out next time on Big Brother Teens!
