Previously on Big Brother Teens, a turbulent week ended in a double eviction, sending one Houseguest out of the game, and one to the jury house. In the first part of the week, Kyle was HoH and immediately had plans of sending Valerie's partner, Emma, out of the house. Knowing the only way that could happen would be her going up, Valerie argued and argued to make sure Kyle knew she wasn't for it. However, that didn't stop Kyle from going through with it when his original nominees, Harold and Michael, were saved with the Veto. After the Veto meeting, Valerie confided in Marina about her thoughts on nominations and Kyle's reign as HoH. Marina relayed this information to an infuriated Kyle, who sparked a house-wide argument with Valerie, who lied about people saying they'd save Emma. At the eviction, the original plan to evict Emma was carried through, as she was evicted 5-2. Then, Valerie took power in the HoH competition and nominated Kyle and Harold. Valerie went to Liam, Heather, and Michael, who were picked to play in the Veto competition, and begged them not to use the Veto if they won. Liam emerged victorious and listened to Valerie as her power trip continued. The six voters tied it up, and Valerie got her wish and sent Kyle packing. How will the house react to his eviction, and who will be crowned the new HoH? Find out now on Big Brother Teens!

After an eventful double eviction, the eight remaining Houseguests were gathered in the backyard for the next HoH competition. As outgoing HoH, Valerie could not compete. This competition was a battle of endurance, as the players would have to stand on a small, circular disc on a rope as it swung around a fountain that would spray them with freezing cold water. The rotations started off slow and easy, but soon they started going faster, which made them start tilting. After fifteen minutes, Marina was the first to fall.

Marina: After being pretty much a sideline watch for two weeks, I am finally back in, but I didn't wanna paint myself a target. I had to drop to make sure no one would see me as someone they were threatened by, so down I went.

The competition continued, and after five minutes of no one falling, Big Brother added another obstacle. As they got to a certain point in the rotation, they would slam into a padded turnstile. With the speed they were going and the force of the impact, Michael and Talon dropped.

Talon: Falling was sort of a win, win situation. I fall, no blood on my hands this week and I don't look like a threat. I don't fall, I get HoH and safety, plus the opportunity to make a big move. Either works.

About an hour later, to add insult to injury, it started raining. Since the backyard was uncovered, every drop of rain hit the competing Houseguests. The others were allowed to go in and take showers, which tempted Tristen to jump off. He went to take his first hot shower in a week after being a Have Not. This left Heather, Liam, and Harold in the competition. While they were alone, Harold decided that this would be a good time to make a deal for safety. "Look guys, I know we don't want to spend another hour here, so let's just cut to the chase. I will keep you guys safe if you drop," he offered. The other two thought about it, and Liam dropped.

Liam: Safety is all I need. I get another week and I don't have to get any blood on my hands. Sounds pretty good to me.

Heather: I really didn't wanna drop. Harold is not that trustworthy, and if I let him get this HoH, he can use it to take a jab at myself or my allies, and I don't wanna risk that at this point.

Heather stayed on her disc, saying, "You'll be safe if you let me win. I am solid so I have no reason to drop." Harold groaned and clenched his fists as he slammed into the turnstile and was sprayed in the face with cold water. "Houseguests, we don't want the sun to get to you, have some sunscreen!" Julie told them as they were blasted with cold sunscreen that got in their eyes and mouths. However, this didn't phase either of them as the continued to hold on.
