Your pov.

Hours later...

It is already one in the afternoon. Everybody got up and cleaned up.

"(Y/n). " Destiny said.

"Yeah? " I asked.

"What's wrong with the cat? " she said. I looked at Happy.

"He looooves you. " I sang teasing her.

"Really? " she asked and I nodded my head. I was standing up when the door opened.

We saw a guy come in. With waist-length light-green hair; his bangs are brushed to one side, covering the majority of the right side of his face, as well as a pair of thin strands jutting out backwards from the sides of his head, both shaped like lightning bolts. His hair is gathered at the end and tied in a short ponytail. My eyes widened.

'Freed. ' I thought to myself. My eyes got teary I ran up to him hoping for him to remember me. I did exactly what I did when we we're younger. I had my hands behind my back, with a smile. I just couldn't help it so I hugged him. "It's really you. " I said. I stopped hugging him and looked at him. He had a confused expression.

"I'm sorry but who are you? " he asked. "And why did you just hug me?" He asked. My eyes widened got teary and tears ran down my cheeks. I felt as if my heart broke.

'You broke our promise! ' I shouted to myself in my head. I ran into a room in the guild. I cried in there. 'How come he don't remember me? ' I asked myself. I brought my legs to my chest, I wrapped my arms around my legs, I laid my head on my knees and cried.

Freed's pov.

"What the hell Freed?! " Natsu shouted.

"Yeah man she's a new member! " Gray shouted. Canna got up with a cup, and some beer to where the girl is in. And she walked back out.

"Why did you make her cry?! " a cat just like happy asked.

"I swear I don't know what I did. " I said.

"Well you better jog your memory before I jog it for you! " she shouted. A sweat dropped. We all stared at the door. A couple hours had past and she cane out all drunk. She came out so drunk she could barely stand. She walked over to me and threw her cup at my face.

"So much for the promise you made! So much for saying you were my best friend! " she shouted. "Are you still going to say you don't remember well maybe this will remind you. " she said and stood in front of me. She was trying to stand just like she did earlier, but wabbled a bit. She had a fake smile on her face. "Freed! Freed!" She started to shout. "Your my best friend in the entire world! " she shouted and attached her arms as far as they can go. "A lady said that her best friend forgot her. Promise me Freed that you will never forget me no matter what. " she said. "And you said 'I promise but same goes to you'. " she said. My eyes widened.

"(Y/n). " I said she fell forward and I caught her. I caught her in a hug and hugged her tightly. "Your back. " I said. "And Canna can you please stop giving people beer when they are hurt! " I shouted at her. She just kept drinking. "Mari please get me a cup of water. " I said and she handed me a cup of water. I quickly put a spell in it and handed (y/n) the cup and she drank it. She blinked a couple of times. She looked around confused. She looked at me.

"Freed. " she said. And I nodded my head. She punched me and I flew across the room. "That's for forgetting me! " she shouted next thing I know she was hugging me. "This is for finally being able to see my best friend again. " she said and I hugged her back.

"You've gotten stronger. " I said. The click showed 3 o'clock. She let me go and looked at the clock.

"Crap! " she shouted.

"(Y/n)! " the cat shouted. A sweat dropped from (y/n)'s head.

"Sorry. " she said. "It's nice to see you again Freed but we best be going. " she said in a rush. She started to run and her cat went flying.

"But your a member now! " I shouted so she can hear me.

"Oh right! Well I have to go bye! " she shouted and they both left.

"So... She's single. " one of the guys said.

"Shut up! " I shouted. I wondered where she was going.

Your pov.

"You seemed as if we had to go somewhere. " Destiny said.

"We do up there. It's time for me to chill and sleep. " I said. She just sighed and flew me to the sky. We stopped on a cloud. I fluffed it up a bit more. "It's so soft and comfy up here. " I said with a yawn.

"We really just came here to take a nap! " she shouted.

"No I need this for my sky magic. " I said.

"So this Freed is a childhood friend. " She said.

"Yep I've known his since as long as I can remember. I never forgot him once. " I said.

"How come you never brought him up? " she asked.

"Because... " I cut myself off.

"Because what? " she asked.

"Because it was never the right time. " I said.

"Oh. " is all she said.

again. let me sleep. Wake me up in two days. " I said.

"Heck no child! You'll need to show the guild that you are up to anything! That you are strong probably stronger! " she shouted. "Just don't show them your true power. " she said.

"Fine. " I said. "So till tomorrow? " I asked.

"No! " she shouted and I pouted. "You have two hours and that's it. " she said. I just smirked. I knew she couldn't resist sleeping on here.

"What ever you say destiny. " I said and fell asleep. I found my best friend again.
