Some people lie Jones

We arrive at Southside High and swiftly run to Jughead.  Everyone in Southside is shocked and everyone stops moving as they hear footsteps coming from the hallway. "Jug!" I say as i run to him and Veronica. I go and hug him instantly. "Oh juggie are you ok??" I say then kiss his cheek."Yeah of course, why wouldn't I Betts."   I give him a worried look. "You don't know." Archie says leaning on a locker. His face becomes very confused and a little angry. The noises of loud foot steps become more loud and we all turn around and look at the noises coming from the right of us. The cops. "Hey! Hey what's going on?" He walks up to sheriff Keller. He gives him a tough look. "We found who the sugar man is."  Jug looks right in  Philip's eyes while he struggles to get out of the cop's arms. "Why did you do it?" Jug says. "Some people lie Jones." Then they take him away and walk outside the school. Jughead watches them as they leave. "Jug? Are you ok?" Archie asks. He slowly nods and looks down at the floor. 

"Why are you here Betts? Arch?" Jughead says. We both look at each other waiting for an answer. "Well- we um... we just wanted to know how you would react." I say and Archie goes along with it. "Yeah Jug." Jughead looks decisive but finally accepts it. "O-kay. but mainly thanks." I smile. "Oh hey Betty." I hear from behind me then turn around and see Toni Topaz. 

My smile goes from happy to slightly sad. "Hey- Toni." I say slowly as Jughead goes up to wrap his arm around her. "Hey Toni." Archie says and goes to fistbump her. I stand a little back. Toni and Jug talk for what seems like years. Archie stops chatting with them and notices me then walks towards me, "Betty? What's wrong." I look up at him and raise an eyebrow. "Yeah, i know...sorry." He itches the back of his neck and stands next to me. I look down. "Betty, What time is it?" I quickly look up at the clock. "I'm sorry guys but i really need to go!" I grab my stuff and run out of the school. "Maybe she just can't take the  students in this school." Toni says. Jughead scoffs and rolls his eyes.
