It was late for you to be up, but you were. Your mum was in the kitchen and your big brother , Niall, was watching tv in the living room.

You made your way downstairs with your little pink blanket in one hand your thumb in your mouth.

You walked into the living room and you could tell Niall was moody but he was always nice to you.

"NiNi?" You said quietly. He ignored you.
"NiNi" you said louder but he still didn't listen.
"NiNi!" You said loudly going next to him.
This time however he didn't ignore you but he didn't give you the reaction you weren't expecting.

"Y/n just leave me alone! You're so f*cking annoying sometimes! I wish I never had a f*cking sister" He snapped.

Your lip quivered and you burst into tears, he never said anything like that before.
You ran into the kitchen where your mum was.

"Mummy!" You cried loudly running to her.
"Baby? What's wrong? Have you had a bad dream?" She asked softly, picking you up and holding you.
You shook your head.
"NiNi!" You sobbed.
"NiNi is in the living room, you wanna go to him?" She chuckled.
You shook your head vigorously and she looks confused , you always want Niall.
"Baby? What's wrong?" She asked.
"H-he was a meanie, he said I'm annoying and I never leave him alone and he said he wish he never had a sister. And he used bad words" you cried.

Your mum walked into the living room with you still on her hip sniffling.

"What?" Niall asked noticing her glare at him.
"You know what, Niall. How dare you call her annoying and saying that you wish you never had a sister? She may only be 3 but don't you realise how much that hurts her Niall! She loves you so much, she looks up to you, more than me and your dad probably and you treat her like that" your mum said.

Niall looked guilty as he realised what he said.
"I'm sorry" he whispered.
"It isn't me that needs apologising to, it's your sister, the only one you'll ever have and the one you wish you never had" she said to make him feel more guilty.
She placed you on your feet and went back into the kitchen leaving you and Niall alone.

"C'mere princess" Niall said picking you up and sitting on the sofa with you on his lap, cuddled against his chest.

"I'm sorry princess, I was just a little nosy and took it out on you when I shouldn't have. You're not annoying and I'm so glad I have you as my baby sister. I love spending time with you" He said.
"I love you princess" He said and kissed your head.
"I love you too Nialler" you whispered.

You and Niall both ended up falling asleep, you on his lap cuddled against his chest with your blanket in your hand.

Your mum entered the room and a small smile appeared on her face as she looked at two out of three of her children.
"They can never stay away from each other" she thought. She loved how close you and Niall were.
