Chapter 3 - Introductions

I mentally slapped myself after accepting another bet or another goal or whatever I just agreed to. The world failed to make my life a good place so how will this good looking beast change my perspective on the world. Wait, he is not good looking at all... Maybe a teensie weensi bit, yes only a bit... Ok fine stop giving me the glare! He is like anther Channing Tatum but more paler and more muscle.

"I don't even know your name, Mr Rich Guy." I said without meeting his piercing grey eyes.

"The names Ashton Crowes," Silence. Awkward silence...

Gosh, I waited for like a minute for the beast to say "Hey, you also have a name given to you when you were born , just like me, what is your name?"

"My names Ashley Houston thanks so much for asking aren't you so polite." I guess I should dial down the sarcasm. He chuckled,

"I'm going to call you kitten anyways, I don't do names never have and never will. Anyway, I'm meant to be in a meeting in 2 hours but we will catch up when I get back. Suzan my house maid will provide you with clothes for tonight -

"Wait, Im not staying here any longer than I need to and why do I need to go out tonight with you?"

"Kitten, you are staying here its part of the bet so I know there will be no funny business. This house will be your new home for the next two month so get comfortable. Plus I want to know your story, so we will go out for dinner and find out a little bit about each other."

"but-

"No buts, I'm running late I'll see you tonight. Bye" He left straight after without hearing my last argumentative statement. Oh well.

I go back to my room to try and look for my shoes and phone, before I could enter my bedroom a lady around her mid thirties comes up and gives me two massive suitcases,

"Sir Crowes has provided you with all the essentials that you might need to stay in this household Miss. These are all brand new items that had come early in the morning, My name is Suzan and if you need anything just call me, I am mostly in the kitchen." After Suzan passed me the suitcases she left in the direction she came from.

"Thank you!" I shout back.

My first step is to call my sister and tell her that I decided not to jump off a bridge and die. Last night before I left I wrote a letter, with a cheesy note : "Hey family, I loved you dearly all my life but I'm fed up off you so I'm jumping of a bridge tonight. Peace! Oh and don't call the police." Yeah... I should call her.

I drag my 2 suitcases inside my new room and go to my phone to find it at 2 percent. I shrug but still decide to dial my sister's number.

"Ashley!" The voice sounded so thick as my sister had been crying.

"Hi Amber, look the letter was a prank and I am not going to commit suicide any time soon." That's a lie.

"Ashley come home this second, I have been worried sick all morning!"

"Amber I can not come home, listen, I am moving out and umm staying with a ummmm a friend. I'm not too far away from home but last night I decided that our house was to small so me and my friend will live together that her parents gifted her and myself." Wow I should receive an Oscar award.

"Ashley... I don't even know that friend, you can't just move out without a plan! And most importantly-"

"Bye, I'll visit some days." Making kissing sounds I switched off my phone

I looked at the wall clock, it read exactly 4:30 pm. Wow time goes fast.

I decide to take a shower and get ready for tonight.

After getting ready in an black off shoulder shirt with black jeans and some black boots, I get a text on my phone. I should really charge my phone

New number: Kitten, I'll be back at 6:00pm (In 30 minutes, just doing the math for you) Be ready. :)

Me: K.

New number: Save my number kitten. :)

Me: K.

Beast: Bye. :/

What's with the faces.

To pass time I decide to put a bit of makeup on to get rid of the dark circles underneath my eyes.

As I'm about to put nail varnish on my phone rings, flashing the name of the beast himself.

"What!?"

"Wow, kitten someone got your panties in a twist." I blush furiously after the statement, I know my face just heats up for absolutely no reason. There is a reason why you are blushing. Shut up inner voice!

"I'm in front of the house, come quick or we'll miss the reservation time -" Great, my phone just died on me.

I dash out the house to see the beast looking gorgeous as ever and smirking. I visibly gulp, This is going to be a long, long night.
