Chapter 3- LA

"Ali, you have to wake up! You're gonna miss the flight." Someone shouts in my ear.

I open my eyes to a rainy morning with Nati standing over me.

"We have to get dressed and pack our bags. We are gonna be late for the flight."

I rub my eyes and look at the clock. 11:49. Ugh, so late but I barely got any sleep. Memories of last night flood my mind and I get up and get dressed to try and forget them.

"Where did you go last night? We missed you." Nati said as we pack our bags. Nati, Kate, Eill and I live together at the top storey of the Browne House.

"I went home, I was really tired and wanted to go to bed." I lie. I don't want to worry Nati about the Unknown text.

As soon as we are done, her phone rings.

"Hello. Yeah, sure. We are coming out now. No we don't. I thought you did. Does Kate? Ok I'll ask. What do you mean no space? Ok. See you in a few minutes."

"Do you have the tickets?" Nati asked me as soon as she finished the call.

"No, Karen does tho."

"Oh good, the girls were panicking about it. And you need to take your Audi thingy because there is no space in Eill's car."

"Nati, it's called an Audi R8 V10. It's not a thingy. It's my favorite car."

"Whatever. Hurry up." I'm not a car fanatic or anything but I just know the model of my favorite car. It's not a crime. On the other hand, Nati doesn't know the difference between a Ferrari and a Lamborghini or a Bugatti.

As soon as we get into the car Nati takes over the sound system. As always, she turns the music up so high you can't hear anything else and then she starts singing. I don't mind, honestly, I love her outgoing personality. And the music she puts on is awesome.

When we get to the airport, the rest of our friends are there.

"HEY CHICAS, CANT WAIT TO SEE LA." Kate shouts as we walk closer and everyone starts cheering.

When we board the plane, I can't contain my excitement. Even if this trip is for work, I've never been to LA before and can't wait to see it. And with my friends it will be so much fun. And of course what trip without drama. As soon as we get on the plane Eill and Oliver get into a fight. Arguing about who takes the last window seat because all other window seats are taken.

As soon as we take off I take out my book and start reading. It's not a long flight and before I know it we are arriving in LA.

Kate pressed her face to the window trying to see all of the buildings and sites. Nati on the other hand, doesn't really care.

As soon as we land and the stairs are put under the door, Kate runs out shouting "WE'RE HERE!!!! OMG GUYS IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL!!!" and we all laugh.

Kate, just like Nati, has an outgoing personality. She is crazy most of the time, but that's why she is my best friend. She also loves to shout.

Eill stands beside me as we wait for our cars.

"Can't wait to meet Fade and Ruby. And don't forget we need to go to at least one of the parties here. I'm so excited."

"I can't wait either, but not for the parties but to see Ruby and Fade. I didn't see them in such a long time."

Eill is unlike all the rest. She is crazy as-well but she has a quiet side too. She helped me with my ups and downs in life and I really appreciate that.

"Lol, I know you don't like dancing and drinking but there are other things you can do."

"Yeah the-" *BEEP*

I pick up my phone and see that it is from the same person that texted me the night before.

Unknown: Enjoying yourself? You can't run or hide from me. Wanna play a game? Oh, I know you do. My little version of Truth or Dare. But instead of truth, all your secrets will be exposed. Let's start shall we? Ask Ian what happened between him and Karen while you were at the birthday party. Oh poor Nati.... And it wasn't only once. She will be heartbroken when you tell her. And you will, I'll make sure it will be you. Xxx

I looked around trying to see who was on their phone. Then I looked at Ian. He had his arm around Nati and they were laughing with Kate.

"What's wrong?" Eill asked looking concerned.

"Nothing really."

"Please tell me."

I always tell Eill all my secrets. Maybe she will help me with this. Just before I can tell her, a car pulls up and Ava comes out. Ava is Kate's BFF, in other words her wife. They aren't married or anything tho, it's just that their friendship is so strong. She lives here in LA and she volunteered to drive us around.

"Ready guys?"

"YAS" Kate shouted.

"No, can I talk to Ali for a minute? I just need to ask her some details about the meeting with the Insurance company." Eill grabbed me by the hand and pulled me after her.

When we were out of hearing for the others, she asked me "What is going on? Please tell me. When the phone went off,  you looked like Pennywise texted you. Is everything ok?"

"Eill..... there is this thing...." I told Eill everything and showed her the texts.

"Wow, Alex why didn't you tell me? What the hell. Ian cheated on Nati? With Karen?! Did you try tracing the number?"

"Yeah, I did, twice. It goes back to my number like I'm texting myself."

"GUYS, YOU ARE EITHER COMING NOW OR WALKING TO THE HOTEL!!!" Ian shouted.

"WE'RE COMING!!!" Eill shouted.

"Talk about the devil and the devil will -"

"Appear." I said. It's an inside joke that NJ made up. You wouldn't get it.

When we get to the hotel, Fade and Ruby are already there.

"OMG, GUYS, HI!!!" Ruby shouted.

We hug each other tightly in turn. Last time I'd seen any of them was last Christmas when they came over to Seattle, which was nearly a year ago.

"I have something big planned tonight." Fade said

Then, behind Fade I spotted about five people running towards us.

"Omg, Alex, Hi"
"Can I take a picture?"
"KATE!!! NATI!!!! ALEX!!! EILL!!! OMG!!!"
"Can we take a group picture?"
"FADE!!! RUBY!!!"
"Can I please have an autograph?"

We take the pictures and sign autographs and after that we run inside the hotel before anyone else spots us.

"So, as I was saying I have something planned. So tomorrow we will have a huge party. With Pewdiepie, Jacksepticeye, Liza Koshy, David Dobrick and The Dolan Twins. There are tones of more, famous Youtubers and people from Vine. Jake and Logan Paul will be there too." Fade continued as we walk into the lift.

"I think that will be fun" I reply with a grin.
