Chapter 6- Grayson

It's been a week since that party. I'm back in Seattle and busy with work. I still didn't text him. He will think I'm a creep. But.... I think about him. I think about him at home. I think about him when I'm making videos. I think about him when I'm at work. And it's really hard to concentrate. Nothing happened that week. But I have a feeling that this week will be a lot better.

"Alex, are you listening to me? Hello? You need to come up with a plan for this house." Karen instructed me.

I know I chose this job and I like it but Karen is annoying sometimes. Especially since she slept with my best friend's boyfriend. But I can't fire her cause her dad is some major lawyer that helped Kate start her business.

"Yes, I'm listening. I will have it done in two weeks. Can I go now?" I asked. Karen is the most annoying person in my life.

"If you have to. I'll tell Spence to reschedule our next meeting." Karen replied and rolled her eyes.

I got out of her office as soon as I could. I decided to call Eill because I didn't see her in a week and I really wanted to meet up.

"Hi, Eill, wanna go for coffee Friday at lunch?"

"Um.... actually I have plans. I'm going for lunch with Dearbhaile. Do you remember
her? We went to school together. You were best friends." Eill explained.

"Yeah, of course I remember Dearbhaile. She was so crazy but I loved that about her. How is she? I didn't see her in months?" Dearbhaile. Yeah I remember Dee. We used to always fight tho. Random things. Now that I think about it, it's hilarious over what we used to fight about.

"Ali, wanna go to lunch with us? I'm sure Dearbhaile wouldn't mind."

"Yeah, sure that would be fun. See you then." I ended the call. I love Eill. She always cares about me.*BEEP*

I check my phone and see it's a message from Unknown. Should I open it?

Unknown:Hey Bitch! Enjoying yourself? A birdie told me you like a boy. Not just any boy. Oooooh. I'm so excited. The more relationships to play with, the better. Oh and you ready for this? Secret Number 3. Eill. Our innocent Eill. Oh wait, once you hear this. She won't be that innocent. Our pretty young Eill is actually in a relationship. With who? Oh you'll find that out pretty soon. This will be scandalous. There is only so much I can tell. You'll stop believing. How about I show you? Eh? Alaskan Way. Beside the Seattle Aquarium. Tomorrow at 4. Go and see for yourself. Xxx

What the hell!!! Eill has a secret relationship? With who? Ugh, I guess only one way to find out. Just then I heard my phone ring.

Unknown Number: Hey, it's Grayson. Ethan gave me your number. He got it from your friend.

Nati...... I'll kill her sometime. Why would she do this?

Grayson:Maybe we can go for lunch? Saturday?

Oh.... wow.

Alex: Sure. But um..... I live in Seattle.

Grayson:Oh, can you come to LA?

Alex: Yeah sure.

Grayson: Saturday at 12? In The Blue Cube?

Alex: Sure, where is The Blue Cube?

Grayson: On the corner of S Spring Street and W 2nd Street.

Alex: Sure

Did I just get invited to a date? With GRAYSON? I've never been to a date before. Let alone go somewhere with a boy I had a crush on. Oh, I just admitted to myself I had a crush on him.

"ALEX, OMG, OH MY GOD!!!! ALEX!!!" Kate ran into me as I was just coming into my office.

"What's wrong Kate? Are you ok? Come in and we'll talk. Calm down. Please don't shout."

"Oh my god, Alex I just met the best boy ever. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He is so cute. His name is Jack." Kate exclaimed.

Seems that Kate has all the luck with boys. She went through about 5 relationships and crushes. Kate was blessed with beauty while I, on the other hand, was blessed with brains.

"Where did you meet him?" I asked unbelievably. Just a couple of days ago she was freaking out about some guy. And now Jack.

"Online. Through Snapchat. Nati told me to add him. So I did. And Jack texted first. He was so sweet." Kate sat there all dreamy eyed. I was actually jealous. I didn't know how my relationship will turn out, while she already had an online boyfriend in a day.

"When can I meet him?"

"Jack lives in New York. I can't wait to visit him. Can I borrow your plane? Please?"

"How about next week Thursday? And come back on Monday?"

"YAS. I'd love that. I can't wait to see him." Kate exclaimed and ran out the door. That girl is hyper.

Everyone seems to get into relationships nowadays. Apparently, Nati has something with Ethan while Ian cheats on her with Karen. Kate and Jack. Eill and the mysterious man. Who is next?

I decide to ring Spencer and book the flight to New York. I hope the thing about Jack isn't a fraud. After that my phone rings.

Ethan:Hi, Nati gave me your phone number. I actually gave it to Gray. Do you mind?

Alex: As long as you don't give it to anyone else.

Ethan: Yeah. Sure. Can Nati come to LA with you?

Alex: Yeah, sure.

Nati will be so happy. She will finally see Ethan. And Kate will see Jack. Only one sad thought remained in my mind. Eill. I needed to go to the pier. What if I didn't?

"Hey, Alex, this was delivered to you." Spencer said knocking and walking into my office.

It was a red package. I looked at the tag. "Alex Browne. See you at the pier. Xxx." This must be from Unknown. A package? Why would Unknown send me a package? I opened it.
