As you and Oliver watched Ponyo, you couldn't help but feel a twinge of excitement. It had been years since you've had a friend over, honestly hanging out with others became something that was only done at school, or when forced. “I've become a recluse haven't I?” You mused to yourself, and laughed a little. Oliver looked away from the movie and up at you.
“(Y/N), what's funny?” he asked as he tilted his head to the side a bit. The boy's soft blonde locks slide bit down to his nose and making his nose itch, resulting in the cutest sneeze you could've ever imagined. You giggled a bit more.
“It's nothing Ollie, don't worry about it.” you said smiling down at him. At that moment you noticed two things. 1. Oliver was so much shorter than you. Which you had trouble determining whether or not that made your height average or if Oliver was just short, and 2. You had just called him Ollie.
Oliver beamed brightly at the mention of the nickname “Ollie”. (Y/N), (Y/N), did you just call me Ollie?” He said peering up at you excitedly. “That's such a cute nickname! Do you really think we're close enough for nicknames now? Ooh I'm so excited, it's like we're best friends now, I've got to come up with a cute one for you!” the blonde continued chattering on about cute nicknames and what he was going to call you. This was when the third thing dawned on you.

3. I have a friend.
