Chase Dreams

chapter 4.

As I was walking out the mall to wait for my mom to come and pick me up I see Jackie.

"Hey!" I yelled out trying to get her attention.

She looks back and doesn't say a word.

"Its Leslie! Come over here!"

"Oh! I didn't know it was you, hold on!" She yells back.

As she's walking back I see a familiar face.

David, its David! What is she doing with him? I thought I told her I didn't want to ser him anymore! David's my ex! Why would I want to see him? Why would she be with him? So many thought went though my head.

"Hey, whats up?" Jackie said.

"Uh nothing, I was gunna ask if you needed a ride. My moms on her way for me, but I see you have some on with you. so" I got cut off my David. "I was just about to go." David said.

"Yeah, he was just leaving" Said Jackie.

"So would you like a ride home?"

"Yeah! And I was thinking maybe we can have a sleepover at someone's house?" Jackie said.

"Yeah! That would be great, how about your house? I can go home get some things and my mom can give us a ride to your house."

"Sounds like a plan" Jackie said

"Bye Jackie, ill text you!" David said while hugging her.

Since when did they start talking?

"So I got to meet them, it was so amazing!"

"Thats cool! As I was getting my drink I saw David and we started talking so I just stayed with him." Jackie said.

"Oh, well I though you wanted to meet Kalin and Myles also?"

"I did but David was alone so I decided to just stay with him." said Jackie.

"Hey look my moms here." I said trying to change the subject.

As we got into the car my mom started asking so many questions,  like how was it? Did you girls get to meet them? Are they even more cute in person? And so on.

"It was amazing! Even though I only got to see them for like 5 minutes."

"How about you Jackie? Did you get to see them?" My mom said.

"Um no, I lost my place in line." Jackie said.

I look back at her with an annoyed look. Did she really just lie to my mom?

"Here we go girls, don't go to sleep to late now." My mom said.

"Okay bye, thanks!" We both said.

As we walk into her house her mom is asking us if we're hungry.

"No thanks mom, we're good." Jackie said.

"Hey so why did you tell my mom that you lost your place in line?"

"Well I didn't want to tell her I was with David." Jackie said.

"Okay."

"Hey! Did you see Myles's last tweet?" Jackie asked.

"No, what is it?"

" Can't get my mind off her.. The meet and greet was absolutely amazing because of Leslie." Jackie said.

"What!?"

"Is he talking about you?" said Jackie.

"I don't know.."
