Steve's disappearance

Steve is invited by Nancy's family to dinner,  Around 7:00pm. Steve's in his bedroom getting all dressed up and ready. He is combing his hair right now.  As he is getting ready to get in his car, To drive off to Nancy's house. As he is driving he sees a flickering of a light, and a scream of a child, Which that had him frightened. He gets out of his car to try and see what is happening. He walks slowly as he hears leaves crunching under his boots. Steve looks left and right, For a good 10 seconds. Steve then calls out, "Hello is anyone there?" Right as he says hello,  He then gets sucked in by a slimey gooey creature.  At Nancy's house. Nancy, Jonathon, & her family help gather up the dinner table. They sit down at the table, & Nancy looks at the clock,  The clock reads 7:15 pm. Nancy then says, "What's taking Steve so long I told him to come at 7 sharp." Nancy got up out of her seat & dials Steve's home phone number. "Hello?" Says Steve's mom. "Hi uh... it's Nancy is Steve home?" Nancy says. "No, honey he left around 20 minutes he said he was heading to your house." Nancy stares at Jonathon, & her family terrified. "Um okay thank you Mrs. Harrington" Steve's mom then says, "Of course honey." Nancy then tells her family, "Um uhh... me and Jonathon have to go." Nancy's mom then says, "But the food is gonna get cold." Nancy & Jonathon rush to leave the door. They both get in the car to go Jonathon's house.  The ride took a little longer then they thought, So Jonathon started to speed up. As they finally got to his house, They step on his porch and knock his door. Joyce opens the door & says, "You guys are here early I thought you'd be back by 8." Jonathon and Nancy then talk over each other,  Hopper in the back says, "One at a time." Nancy decides to talk, "Well.. Steve was supposed to be at my house for dinner at 7, But he took a little longer then we thought, so I dialed his home phone,  his mother picked up and told me he left the house already around when it was 6:40pm. & why do I feel like this has to do with the Demogorgan now." Hopper says, "Get in the car." they all say, "What?" Hopper yells, "Get in the car!" They all get in the car. TO BE CONTINUED.
