"Karma fucking got me."

"And about time too," Jonah said, barely being able to withhold laughing at his friend's misfortune.

Connor threw his neck pillow at him, "Just find me a pair of pants before I lose it and strip right fucking here."

Jonah glanced over at the three female flight attendants cleaning up the mess that was Connor's seat, "I'm sure the audience wouldn't mind that", he said, wiggling his eyebrows.

But with a single glare from Connor, he threw his head back in a laugh and raised his hands in surrender, "Okay, okay, I'll stop".

Karma sure is a bitch. Maybe if Connor hadn't switched the drinks while the attendant was pre-occupied, maybe, just maybe, he wouldn't currently be covered vomit.

"Here you go buddy", Jonah passed him a pair of pants, "Only one in the lost and found basket".

"You're a fucker", he said, snatching the pair of pants and carefully standing up.

"I'll take that as a thank you", Jonah replied, flashing him a shit-eating grin, "You're very welcome."

"Stupid positive motherfucker", Connor muttered, entering the bathroom, to which Jonah responded to with an air kiss.

Despite washing himself off with buckets of water and an entire bottle of sanitiser, the smell lingered. Just to add to that, the pants looked like a bright pink hospital gown and felt as though they cost 50 cents to make.

"I still smell like shit."

"You look like it too."

"Fuck you."

"Wouldn't you love to?"

"So, you're telling me you lost your phone, room confirmation, credit card and identification card all at once?"

"... Yes?"

"Look, honey, I really hate to do this to you, but without a confirmation number and bond, I legally can't give you access to your room", explained the front desk lady, "Maybe if I call up your coach-"

"No!" Ava and Kacey exclaimed in unison.

"Our coach will kill us", Ava elaborated.

Scarlet and herself had spent the last few months begging their cheer coach to let them take the plane instead of the dreaded five-hour bus ride from Phoenix to LA. Their coach had caved only because they were the captain and co-captain of the team respectively, and because she trusted that they 'wouldn't cause any trouble'.

Come to think of it, Scarlet would probably be out for her neck too when she found out. Ava shuddered at the thought.

Ava scratched her head, "I'll try to find a way to get my stuff back."

The lady offered her a sympathy written smile, "Good luck."

It was currently the 29thof June, 2pm standard eastern time. Ava and Kacey had exactly four hours before the rest of their friends landed in LA, thanks to their flight being delayed, and 46 hours before the rest of their team arrive. Yet, instead of doing anything that would get Ava's stuff back, they were sat on a couch in the hotel's lobby, chucking Kacey's phone at each other.

"You call!" Kacey tossed her phone into her friend's lap, "You're the one that went puke city on him!"

Ava immediately tossed the phone back, "And you're the one that took his bag!"
