Four; Calming

"So the color scheme is purple?" Dakota asks and Alice nods.

"Ok. I have to find a purple dress. I'm sure that I have one." Dakota mumbles loud enough that the people closest to her can hear, Alice and Rosalie.

"We should go shopping instead!" Alice says excitedly and Dakota's head whips towards her, eyes wide.

"No no no! That is not happening! I own a purple dress. I'm going to find it and wear that. No shopping." Dakota rushes out of her mouth and the Cullen's laugh.

"I still don't care. We're going shopping." Alice says and Dakota groans throwing her head back.

"Fine." Dakota mumbles and looks back at the papers.

"Bella calm down!" Edward yells as Bella runs in the house and Bella shouts at him.

Dakota quickly stands up and glares at Edward as he tries to go after her.

"Back up. Now." Dakota growls and Edward's eyes widen and he steps back quickly.

Dakota rushes up the stairs after Bella and finds Bella sitting on the balcony crying.

"Hey Bells." Dakota says softly and Bella looks up rubbing her eyes.

"Hey Snow White." Bella replies hoarsely and Dakota flinches at the tone.

"So what did Mr. Brooding do this time?" Dakota asks sitting in front of Bella, her legs crossed.

Bella laughs, "He just said I can't hang out with Jacob because he doesn't approve."

"He's lucky I'm up here or else I would kill him. He doesn't own you. You're not an object. You can do whatever the fuck you want." Dakota states.

"You can't kill him." Bella replies and Dakota snorts.

"I have my ways Bella." Dakota says.

"You know you're sitting just like you used to when we were younger. When you would just sit in front of me, your legs crossed, and talk about everything you loved. You would talk about art, writing, sports, and many other things. The last time we talked like this was when we were thirteen and you told me you liked girls." Bella told Dakota and Dakota nodded a smile on her face.

"Yeah and then we both stopped visiting." Dakota mumbles.

"So speaking of you liking girls. Do you have any crushes?" Bella questions and Dakota blushes.

"No. Well maybe. One. I'm not sure though. I'm just really confused about it all in all." Dakota rambles and Bella smiles.

"Who?" Bella asks and Dakota feels her blush worsen.

"That information is classified." Dakota states feeling her blush leave.

"Fine. We should get back downstairs." Bella says standing up and Dakota jumps up from her spot.

Dakota swings her arm over Bella's shoulders and smiles at her cousin. Dakota laughs when Bella shrugs her arm off. Dakota grabs Bella's wrist and pulls her towards the stairs. Bella walks down and shortly after Dakota is at the bottom.

"Bella I'm so sorry." Edward rushes out of his mouth.

"He better be." Dakota mumbles and walks back into the living room of the Cullen home.

"If looks could kill Edward would've been dead." Emmett says laughing along with the rest of the Cullen's.

"That was a pretty strong glare." Rosalie says and Dakota smiles at the family.

"I have to go." Dakota says.

Dakota walks to the door and opens it.

"We aren't going shopping Alice. Bye!" Dakota says loudly and the Cullen's laugh loudly.

"Yes we are!" Alice yells out the front door as Dakota gets in the car causing Dakota to laugh.

"Bye Alice!" Dakota yells before closing the car door and driving away.
