The following morning, the rains stopped pattering down on the streets, but the gray clouds lingered on. Judy was asleep in bed. Her bed had a bright green blanket and white sheets, which she had wrapped around herself in a ball. She had made the mistake of leaving her window cracked open, with the white curtains pulled back. She could feel goosebumps beneath her light gray fur.

She bounded from her bed, and went slowly for the bathroom. She could hear the ticking of her old rusted clock on the edge of the sink. She pulled back her white shower curtains, which had a large black tree along the side of it. She turned the shining gray knob towards the red letter "H" on the right side, and began to strip herself. She kicked her light green pajamas towards the dark brown door, as the hot water began to pound against the white porcelain floor. The faint orange lighting reflected off of the floor, making her bath tub appear as though it were on fire.

She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and felt her own vibrant indigo eyes staring back at her in the bathroom mirror, which was beginning to fog up. She had made sure to crank the heat up in the shower substantially, to rid herself of the unwanted goosebumps, that made her fur stand on end.

She stepped over the edge of the tub and immediately placed herself under the scalding hot waters that were being produced from the shower head. She let out a sigh of relief as her chill began to subside. She felt her shoulders and neck relax. The continuous sound of the water, reminded her of the storm from the night before. The storm that had sent her home shivering and drinking a mug of cocoa and mini marshmallows. Soon enough, the whole city was likely to resemble that of Tundra Town.

As she applied shampoo along her curves and head, she remembered the events that had unfolded the night prior. She had sort of felt conflicted upon returning home. On one hand, she was giddy at the thought that Ronald had been kind enough to send her the roses. But on the other hand, she went home feeling nervous and conflicted. She had never been in a relationship before. She was curious to see how things would go from here on out.

She could see the streets outside her window continue to grow brighter upon the damp black pavements. She then remembered how her partner, Nick Wilde had left suddenly last night to walk home without a jacket. Judy felt hurt as she would normally drive him home.

Feeling clean from the white suds that had appeared along her small frame, she quickly rinsed off and turned the temperature adjustment counterclockwise to a complete stop. She pulled back the curtain once again, and heard the ever familiar sound of the numerous metal rings of the curtain clinking along the metal bar that held them in place.

She dried off with a bright blue towel that she had kept in the cupboard behind her toilet, and then brushed down her fur with a golden brown hair brush. She slipped into her black police uniform, finalizing by pinning her golden badge on her navy blue Kevlar vest.

She sat down at her small kitchen table, and found her otherwise peaceful morning interrupted by the usual shouting of her neighbors, which made the clock and picture frames move from right to left. Judy did her best to ignore it, as she made up a salad for herself, consisting of lettuce, tomatoes, croutons, nighthowlers and of course CARROTS. She topped it all off with ranch dressing. She picked up her fork and began to dig in. With every bite, Judy reassured herself that it would all work out in the end. Ronald was a good rabbit after all and Nick would be back at work to give her answers.

She washed down her breakfast with a glass of ice water. She rinsed out the bowl and set the dishes aside for after work. She grabbed her black, blue and gold police cap and her jingling silver keys and went downstairs. She made a quick smile and wave at her elderly armadillo landlady, and made her way outside to her car. The moist ground was cool against her feet.
