Welcome, ladies and gentleman, tooooo, "Bowling Bananza"
The one and only place with amazing food AND bowling. The theme of "Bowling Bananza" is purely the 60's. Yes, 100% cliché. But this place carries so many memories. Memories I had locked up for many years. I didn't regret coming here because of the people or the actual place being dirty and rusty etc etc. I regret coming here because of a hidden past.
Remember how I told you I have a dysfunctional family of a dysfunctional life and how I do drug dealings? Well, what if I told you that part of that whole story started from this very place. A certain bowling alley.
I try and hide my emotions and try and be happy, but part of me is broken. Of course you're confused. How can you not be? Eventually, you will find out what I mean. One day you'll see how bad my life really is, because behind the huge house and amazing brothers are scars that cut deep. Deep into my soul.

"Damn girl, how do you know how to play like that?" Carter says
So far I have only gotten strikes and winning every single game. I told you, I am the master of all games.
"How are you so bad? I thought you were the best football player?" I reply sassily, using his own words against him.
"Ooooo BURN" Caleb and Chris holler.
I turn my head and see a familiar looking person.
"DYLAN" I shout as I run up to him, dodging obstacles and jumping over chairs and table and embrace him in a tight hug, tackling him to the floor.
Dylan is my cousin brother and..... I have not seen him for the last 2 years. We've always been exceptionally close though.
Do you know how you have the good side of town then the bad side of town with more rough neighbourhoods? Well, Dylan lives in the bad side of town. The part I'm really from. And this is why, I have been "forbidden" from seeing my biological family."MAYA" he shouts back, hugging me back
Our hug lasts 3 minutes before I turn around and see everyone staring at us in.. well I can't really place their emotion.
Dylan is 6'4 and he has blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. He's the total opposite to me.
"What are you doing here?" I ask, ignoring the glares.
"Well, you see that guy over there?" He asks pointing to Alex, "Well, long story short, I know him and he's grown on me. He actually invited me today"
I was not expecting that. Instead of replying, I do the only thing I saw as reasonable. Smile and nod.
"Hey Maya, your family has some good genes, what happened to you?" Arron yells whilst smirking.
"Hey Arron, if you think I'm ugly, then you should look at the mirror or have you broken all of them?!" I reply, sticking my tongue out as Dylan chuckles beside me and Arron grins at me.
I heard a few, "Oooooo"s before everyone started to return back to bowling or eating or talking
"Dylan, man, glad you could make it" Alex says, making his way over, with his gang
By this time, I can feel my whole "gang" behind me.
"How do you two.." Alex asks, inquisitively, with beady eyes, pointing between the Dylan and myself
"We're cousins" I reply politely whilst smiling.
"Dads are brothers" Dylan adds
"Same grandma and grandpa, paternally" I add, sarcastically. Like, excuse me, why should he care how I know Dylan? For all he could know, Dylan could have been like my boyfriend. But that would be weird, so like no.
"Alright then, let's make the most of our time and how about another round. This time, I want to play against you," Alex commands, in an authoritative tone, nodding towards me.
I put my tongue to the side of my cheek, inwardly and then squint my eyes, before replying, "Are you sure you can stand the humiliation of loosing?"
"Darling, I don't loose" he replies
"Not until you met me, no, but darling, I have never been caught loosing. You on the other hand, well, I've seen you loose" I reply sassily.
"Oh, and the winner , wins something""Like what?"
"If I win, I can make you my personal slave."
"And what's in for me?"
"Well, that's up to you"
"I guess that means anything. If I win.... actually, I want time to think about what you have to do for me, when I win"
"I wouldn't be so sure about that."
"And why is that?"
"Simple. I will win"
With that settled, we make our way to the bowling alley, assigned for us. He has no idea whose territory he's stepping on. This bowling place, was and always will be MY place. He's going down
We choose one person to be on our side. I have dibs on Dylan and Alex chose Jacob, aka, the best shooter on the basketball team.
First Round:
Maya: 1
Alex: 0Second round:
Maya:1
Alex:1This last round determines who gets the prize of practically owning the other person
Just as we were about to play the last round, Highway to hell- ADCD starts playing, rather loud. Great, James chose to call me right now. He has 24 hours in a day and he chose to call me now
"I'm really sorry, I need to take this"
"Hey, hold on a minute" I say to James, before he loses his marbles, thinking I'm quitting my job and making my way out of Bowling Bananza
"Maya, I need a quick favour" James pleads
"When?"
"Now" he demanded
"Really? I was kinda hanging out with my friends"
"Now Maya. It's not a request"
"Alright. I'll be there in about 30-1 hour" I say, considering the bus journey, picking up my ride, journey to James's and maybe run a few errands.
"Oh yeah, bring me some fries and a....."
"Yeah James. I know your usual" I say rolling my eyes.
The amount of favours I do for him. *scoff*
James owes me big time. I mean, Alex can make me do anything. Only time will tell what he wants me to do.
