The wind was blowing, taking away Victoria's problems at the moment as she steered the ship. It was peaceful, the sound of the crew working, the waves rocking the boat methodically.

And Barbossa and Jack arguing.

"What ARE you doing?" Barbossa sbapoed at Jack with narrowed eyes.

Jack leaned forward. "What are YOU doing?"

"No, what ARE you doing?"

"What are YOU doing?"

"No, what ARE you doing?"

"What are YOU doing? Captain gives orders on the ship!" Jack pointed out.

"The captain of this ship is giving orders!"

"My ship, makes me captain." Jack reasoned.

Barbossa narrowed his eyes. "They be my charts."

"That makes you...chart man!"

Pintel stepped in. "Stow it! The both of you! That’s an order! Understand!" His eyes fell on Victoria, strongly standing on the stairwell. "Sorry. I just thought with the captain issue being in doubt, I’d throw my name in for consideration, sorry." He apologized before leaving.

"It's my crew, I'm the captain, and I'm sure there are better things for you two to be doing than to be arguing a mute point." Victoria stated, giving them a stare down.

"Of course Captain." Barbossa stated, walking over to the small table by the wheel and started studying the charts, making adjustments.

Jack held Victoria's gaze for a moment. "A word, Captain?" He asked.

Victoria forced down her spite and walked into her quarters, Jack following her. "What is it Jack?"

"You're angry, I can tell. Please, I'm sorry, Elizabeth caught me-"

"Shut up, just stop talking because I swear to god if I hear one more statement about yourself leave your mouth I'll slap you. Elizabeth didn't make you kiss her back so don't hold her responsible for your actions darling. It won't work." Victoria snapped, her eyes angrily taking in Jacls form when a knock sounded on the door.

They held theor gaze as Victoria answered the door. There stood Will and Elizabeth, Barbossa behind them. "Dear fucking lord, come in." She growled at the group, moving to her desk and sitting as they all approacjed her like she was the headmaster of their school and they were bad students. Except Barbossa, who looked just as irritated. "Tell me, what is it now?"

"These two can't work together on a single simple project. They were asked to secure a line but they couldn't do it, Marty was almost thrown overboard." Barbossa informed Victoria.

Her eyes flashed angrily. "Tell me, what did I say in our last little pow-wow?" The three remained silent. "I said to put your feelings out of your mind while working and actually work. What the hell was so hard to understand? Was it because I was tje one who said it? Well congratu-fucking-lations, you almost killed a man." Victoria ranted, her anger was begging to be released, begging her to start trying to kill the three of them.

"No, it's just, I just. I'm so sorry, I didn't think, I made a mistake." Elizabeth whimpered.

Victoriastood up slowly. "I swear to god, the next person outside of myself and Barbossa to say the word "I" in this room will lose their tongue. Guess what? I am the captain. I am entitled to throw you overboard on a whim. And I don't care. I am so beyond furious with you two, William has it a little better because of my sympathy but I'm still angry with him as well, and guesss what? I am the only one of the group not letting it affect me! And I habe it the worst! The man I loved was murdered by my best friend who had kissed him and he had kissed her back while I was imprisoned on Davy Jones ship. Then, the one person I thought would tell me, because he would understand the betrayal, kept it from me because the he didn't want his lover to die, fine, I get it, but then you two proceeded to make the last six months hell for everyone board, nearly killing a man."

The three looked absolutely stunned at the revelation.

"Who the hell do you think you are? You aren't officers, you aren't asked to do horribly taxing tasks, so tell me, what sway do you think you hold on this ship? Right now my first mate is Gibbs, my second is Barbossa, and my officers are Marty, Pintel, Ragetti, and Cotton. Mr. Barbossa, let the rest of the men know, I refuse to have power disputes on this ship."

Barbossa nodded and ducked out of the cabin. "You three are going to be put to work in different areas of the ship, since you can't seem to work together. Elizabeth, you are in the kitchen, time to put the training you got as a lady to work." The woman looked shocked and slightly offended.

Victoria turned to Will. "Congratulations William, being on my better side, you get to work as our weapons master, you only have authority over that, don't abuse it." William nodded humbly.

"Jack..." Victoria felt pain stab her heart as she looked at him. How was she supposed to go about seeing him everyday at the moment, all hours of the day? No, she couldn't but she would. "You are a deckhand." She told him with a sigh. "Dismissed." She ordered, sweeping out after them on deck. Will and Elizabeth disappeared below deck while Victoria made ber way over to where Cotton, Barbossa, and Gibbs were standing.

"What positions are they?" Barbossa asked.

"Will is our new weapons master, I thought he'd be good at it, Jack is a deckhand so I can keep an eye on him, and Elizabeth is in the kitchen so I don't try to kill her." Victoria muttered to the group. The three nodded.

"You could run any ship with scary efficiency. Remind me not to piss you off." Barbossa stated.

Victoria smirked and winked at him. "With this many people with power in the Brethren, I have to." She stated with a headshake.

"Innit that the truth." Gibbs muttered with a shake of his head.
