Still Red Pov
I woke up still in the damn hospital. I heard voices around me. I opened my eyes and it took them a while to adjust to the bright ass lights. I looked to my right and saw Spazz, Alexis, and Cash sitting there talking. I cleared my Throat letting them know I was awake. Lexi rushed over to my bed side.
"You're awake" she smiled widely
That warmed my heart.
"And you're not crying like a punk no more" I mimicked her enthusiasm
She mugged me and I bust out laughing. That's when I noticed she still was in her pajamas.
"Where my phone?" I asked
Spazz handed it to me and I checked the time. 2:32pm. I looked and spazz was in the same bloody clothes from earlier.
"When can I leave?" I asked them
"The doctors wanted to keep you till later to run some tests" Lexi answered me
"Well you two Go Home take a shower and shit y'all look like yesterday" I said scrunching my face up at them
Spazz chuckled. I gave him my keys and him and Lexi left leaving me and cash alone.
"How did you know I was here?" I asked him
"I called your phone earlier and your sister answered saying you were in the hospital. So I came to check on you" he shrugged
Aww that's sweet. But Lexi doesn't need to be answering my damn phone.
"Thanks" i smiled
"No problem. But what happened?" He asked me
I explained what Happened and he just nodded.
"I like a woman that ain't scared to catch a couple bodies" he smirked making me laugh
"For real. That Shit attractive" he licked his lips
"So about our date. We can just chill at my house instead if you want" I Said to him
"Or you can come to my Brib" he suggested
"That's cool" I nodded
Then spazz texted me saying him and Lexi were going to the mall. I told him okay.
"Ya Know, even with a bruised face and your hair a mess your still fine" he complimented me
"Thank you" I smiled
Spazz Pov
The whole ride back to the house was silent. No lie Lexi bad as fuck. But that's Red little sister she would kill me. When we pulled up to the brib she hopped out still not saying a word to me. I walked in behind her and the Tv was on in the living room.
"7 men found dead on New Bern Ave in seems to had been gang violence. There is no evidence of who did this but if you know anything please call your local police--" I cut the tv off
I was happy as hell to hear they ain't have no evidence on us.
"You and Monae killed those guys didn't you?"
I turned and seen Lexi standing there. Shit. I'm not about to be the one to explain to her that her sister is that nigga in these streets. Ima let Red tell her.
"Aye you Tryna hit Crabtree? I need some new shoes" I said changing the subject.
She nodded and went upstairs. Hopefully going to the mall will take her mind off that shit. I mean what me and red do aint good but the pay is great.
