I hung out with Sky most of the day. We have the same schedule, which was amazing! I actually made a friend today, which was new. I didn't have many friends in the other school. I am actually kind of glad I came here, a new start. No one had to know about my past. Everything will be fine.
Oh I also met Alex. I can tell that Sky has a thing for Alex, it was one of those thing that you had to automatically know.
Today went well and that is great. Now if only my sister showed up on time to pick me up from he-
"Hey Olivia, need a ride?" Said Alex like he was reading my mind.
"Eh, my sister should be showing up soon, if she didn't forget about me"
"Here, I can drop you off at your house so I don't have to worry that your sister forgot about you"
"Okay fine. Thanks Alex" I said because I was sure that she had forgot. I don't blame her though, she has a lot to worry about at home. She has to unpack everything and make sure I have everything I need.
"So, could you tell me where you live so I can actually drop you off at your house?"
"oh yeah. I live near the park in the two story white house."
"Oh so your the one who moved in there. Awesome."
"Yup." I said as he pulled up to my house.
"Thanks again for giving me a ride."
"It's fine Olivia. Anytime you need a ride, just call me." He said handing me a piece of paper with what I was guessing was his number.
"Okay, see you tomorrow at school!" I said walking into the house. "AMBER! I'm home!" I yelled up the stairs to see my sister poke her head out of her room.
"Oh my gosh Olivia, I'm so so so sorry about not picking you up from the school! I was just busy trying to unpack everything so that when you came home everything would be unpacked and less crowded. I guess I lost track of time.."
"It's fine Amber. Really. A nice kid named Alex gave me a ride home."
"Oh, how was your day?"
"It was actually good. I have two friends now. And one I have all my classes with!"
"That's awesome sis! Now how about you go unpack your room so that way you have a way to sleep tonight."
"Okay Amber."~Time skip to dinner because I'm lazy~
I walked downstairs to the kitchen to eat dinner.
"Its been a long day, so I ordered a pizza. It should be here any mi-
Knock knock knock
" okay so they are here sooner than expected"
I get up and take the money off the table and walk to the door.
"Hello Miss, one pepperoni pizza?"
"Yup will $20 do?"
"It sure will," he says taking the money from my hand and handing me the pizza.
"Just keep the rest of the money, we don't need the change."
I shut the door as he walked away and brought it to the table.
"Oh hey, it actually looks good. I remember trying to order a pizza from where we lived before and all it was, was crust."
"Oh hey I remember that." I said recalling the day. It was freezing outside and the guy for the pizza showed up and we paid him $30 for a pizza, which turns out it was only crust.
"We decided it was best not to order pizza after that. Oh yeah, are you almost done with your room?"
"Yeah, I have almost everything set up. I can finish it after school tomorrow though."
"That's good Olivia. Oh wow it's already 11:30pm. You should be going to sleep."
I check my phone to see she was right. Ugh, why does school have to be a thing where you have to get up early?
"Fine. Goodnight Amber. Love you."
"Goodnight Olivia. I'll wake you up at 6:00am so that way you won't be almost late to school tomorrow."
"Oh okay"
I head up the stairs to my bedroom. I love it in here, blue walls, black bed and lamp, my bookshelf which has all my book already in it. I just realized how many books I had. Wow. I lay down on my bed and just stare at the ceiling. I wish sometimes mom were still here. I miss them her much.
I promise mom, matter what I will try to keep going. I drifted off to sleep not to long after that.------------------------------------------------------
Two chapters in a day. Wow. I surprised myself.
