"Honey are you ready to go?"
"Yes I am mom"
"It shouldn't take us too long to go to grandma and grandpa's house since they only live a town away."
"I know."
"Make sure you are buckled in."
"I am. Can we leave now?"
"Yes. We can leave now.""Are we almost to Grandma's house?"
"Yes, maybe another 10 minut-"
Those were the last words she said. All I could see after that was flames. All I could hear was the screaming. A truck, a drunk driver, had crashed into us. I didn't know what to to. I kept looking around for help.
"Mom! Please wake up. Please..""Olivia! Wake up! Are you okay?"
"The nightmares are back..I don't know what to do Amber.."
I started to sob into her shoulder. I could tell she was worried. I had finally gotten rid of the nightmares last year, or so I thought. We just sat in my room until morning since I couldn't go back to sleep. They might be back because of the stress. I honestly don't know at this point."Are you sure you are okay to go to school? I can call you off you need me to." She said pulling out her phone.
"It's okay Amber, really. I'll be fine. Besides it's my second day at this school, I shouldn't be staying home."
