It's Time

Taehyung got up from the sofa and grabbed a bag of chips that were on the counter, he came back to give them to Jungkook.

"This was not the kind of post-breakup conversation I was expecting. But while we're on the topic, I don't want things to end, I know I can right what's wrong. I love being around you and I love the me that I suddenly become when I'm around you, I feel so much better in myself, you make me into that better person. You are the best part of me." Taehyung's words had such a meaning to Jungkook after finding out he was the boy with the video games. Jungkook hoped that was what he needed to move past the issue of feeling things have changed.

"I ... I don't want it to end that way and especially not now either. You don't need to right anything or prove anything to me, leave anything bad in the past and that way I know we can move forward. Don't feel like you have to change yourself to be accepted by me, because I ... fell in love with the way you were how I met you .. again. That caring boy who would sit with me through hours of silence, just enjoying each others' company."

Taehyung moved closer to Jungkook, putting his hand on his hair and stroking softly.

"You were always the one with the right words to say." Taehyung said, turning his stroke into a pat. They both smiled at each other deeply.

Taehyung leaned in slowly to Jungkook's lips, but Jungkook beat him to it. Jungkook put his hand on the back of Taehyung's head as Taehyung leaned in more to Jungkook's body, pressing against his chest. Jungkook traipsed his fingers along Taehyung's ear, coaxing him into the bedroom.

Jungkook was the first to leave the bedroom, still without a shirt. He walked into the kitchen to yet, grab another glass of water. What he just did was surprisingly not the cure to a hangover. He got out some aspirin along with it. He also poured another glass of water for Taehyung who was still in the bedroom.

Taehyung walked out of the bedroom as Jungkook was about to walk in, he passed Taehyung the glass of water and asked, "Are we okay?"

"We will be, in time." Taehyung replied to him.
