Me and Logan were driving to the fair. We got out of the car and got our tickets. There were so many rides, I wasn't sure which one to go on first. We went on a few roller coasters and then went on the screaming tower. It's a ride where where you are on a circular machine that goes up a tower and then drops. We got on and sat next to each other. I was the only one who was nervous. I just had a bad feeling about the whole ride. The ride started with a rumbling noise. It started going up then stopped at the top. I noticed that my harness holding me on my seat was loose. So I tried tightening it. But then the thing that I feared most happened. The strap snapped. I was holding on to the railing for my life when the ride went down. I was lifted out of the seat. Logan saw me and grabbed me and hugged me to him as tight as he could to keep me from falling to my death. He was crying as well as me. We went home shortly after that horrific experience. We both decided that it would be a good idea not to tell our parents.
I was still in shock by the time I got home. I was so thankful that Logan was there to save me. I would have been dead if it wasn't for him. Well I scratched that off my list. "Almost fall and die on a ride."
I ran to Logan's house and he met me and we jumped in the car. There was a week until my 19th birthday and we still had 19 things to do. We would have to do multiple things in one day. That would be difficult. But it's worth trying.
