"I'll be out here restarting the machines. Tim, you go take the girl inside and see if she's alright." instructed the man.

"Okay dad." replied Tim.

Tim carried Rachel into a small house which looked cramped from the outside but from the inside quite cosy. He brought her into a bedroom which judging by the surroundings was presumably his and lay her down atop the bed. He walked out of the room and back with some bandages. After he had finished wrapping both of Rachel's ankles he asked "Are you hurt anywhere else Rachel?"

"No, it's just my ankles. But wait, how do you know my name?"

"I know everyone's names." he grinned. "Hang on a sec, I'll be right back. I'm gonna bring you something."

"Okay" Rachel blushed.

Tim had come back with a bowl full of strawberry ice cream. He got a teaspoon and scooped up a spoonful of it. "Open wide. It's homemade strawberry ice cream my dad and I made yesterday. Hope you like it."

Rachel tasted it. "Wow. It tastes great!" But inside her mind she was trying to hold back the puke. She hated strawberry ice cream.

"Haha. If this doesn't take away the pain, nothing will" he smiled.

She forced a fake smile and thought to herself "It's bringing me more pain than ever."

"So how'd you get up there anyway?"

Rachel explained her whole day not sparing a detail. She thought the longer her story was the more time she'd spend with him.

"Man you've had a rough day." Tim had said after her long story.

"Tell me about it. But I actually have a question. Why do you and your dad need so many marshmallows?"

"Oh, well it's kinda a secret."

"Please tell me" Rachel begged.

"Okay well feeding cows marshmallows makes them taste better. According to my dad anyway. And I suppose it's kinda true seeing as how we're the most successful cow farm in town. Plus I like to put them in some hot chocolate from time to time."

"Really? That's pretty amazing. But don't worry, you're secret's safe with me."

Tim's dad interrupts their conversation by asking Rachel if she needed a lift home. And so that was the end of a weird but awesome day.
