Sunday came with my group trying to reorganize and work more on our project, and passed with a flick of a box cutter. Much like the one I'm holding now. I try to cut the cardboard cube vertically. The tape is very thick, so I began to stab into various spots on the plastic binding. Satisfied with the new holes, I glide my knife's blade along the dents.
I heard footsteps behind me as I flipped open the folds. " Peppermint patterns were never really our style little miss~" a voice purred. I glance over my shoulder. My club leader appeared in my field of vision. His normal messy white hair was stuffed away in what I presumed was a shower cap.
He took the box from the table counter I was using. He flipped the box around, inspecting other markings on the package. " And I'm pretty sure that's part of a brownie recipe," He added sounding not very interested. He then plopped the box back to its original position. " I'm willing to bet, that belongs to the cooking club. Be a dear and put that back will you? I would myself, but my experiment needs to be monitored every five minutes, " he asked taking the cap off.
I shrugged and pocketed the cutter. I stood up and grabbed the package. " Say 'Hi' to Amai for me~ " He cooed peering over the sink. I made a noise of compliance and left the room.
My school shoes clicked along the tile floor.
Right about now. M should be setting up her phone camera to record some lewd on goings in the girl's changing room. I wonder if that is actually going to work.
I overheard a group of girls chatting in disgust about something. I didn't outwardly acknowledge them, but they seemed to shuffle more as I walked by. My eyes drifted down to the ripped peppermint tape.
It's not like I could pull it off.
In my daze I bumped into someone. " Pardon me. I didn't notice you," I said to the figure. " You have an awful habit of doing that, Aishi," A familiar voice stated unamused. I glanced up. " Good morning , Shin," I stated returning his deadpan tone.
I glanced over him. He had very colorful foam string all over his hair. " What a unique headpiece, " I commented. He groaned grabbing a fist full of the substance. " If you're trying to take that to the martial arts club, don't bother. Juku and Budo are trying to cover Sho in this junk," he replied very annoyed.
I scrunch my face. " Why?" He shook the string from his hands. " They think it'll cheer him up. I really don't see how though," he gripped. He then wiped the rest of the string on his pants. " And you? Anything spontaneous happen to you?" He asked. I shook my head. " Just deliver this to the cooking club," I respond shaking the box.
He cocked a brow at me. " If that's going to the cooking club, you're going the wrong way. " I groaned aloud. " This place is a maze," I said adjusting the box. He snickered. " We actually do have a maze," he replied.
Where do they sell school maps....
" Do you want a guide, Aishi?" Higaku asked. I nodded. " That would be great...thanks, " I replied. He gave a tiny nod and began to walk away. I followed suit. We shared no conversion as we walked.
We turned a corner a few minutes later to the club room. I could hear faint peppy music inside. My nose could smell the fresh scent of cookies. My eyes could see traces of pink lining the walls in the door's cracks. My eyes could also see a 'M' peeking through the door like a perverted boy gawking through a peephole to the girl's bath house.
" What the fuck are you doing?" Higaku stated to M folding his arms. She emitted a small 'Eep!' , rose, and turned with a start. " N-nothing! " She replied putting her hands behind her back. Higaku raised a brow, probably in doubt. He stepped forward. " Somehow I really don't believe that," He questioned in an annoyed tone. M flailed her arms up and down. " Yep. Yep! Totally doing nothing!! Just standing here!!! Doing nothing suspicious!!!! " She replied with what I can calmly say is the loudest whisper I have ever heard.
