The next morning I went to L.A. Push, I drove the motorcycle Rosalie had gave me. I stopped outside Emily's house, and took in a deep breathe before relaxing. I took off the helmet and parked my bike. I went up to the door and knocked, I could hear them from out here.

"Coming!" Emily laughed

She opened the door, her eyes going wide when she saw me.

"Paul! It's for you!~~" she sang

"Ugh! Do I have to get up!" he groaned

"Fine, Rachel can have her." said Emily

She let me in and closed the door, she led me to the living room where everyone was. Rachel squealed and got off of Embry as she tackled me to the ground. I caught her and stabled myself so I wouldn't fall. I was surprised when she smelled like Dog Shampoo. I patted her back and she didn't let go.

"Come on Rachel, let Paul hug his Im-Oph!" Embry teased/grunted

"She doesn't know Genius!" said Jared, hitting Embry in the stomach

"Too bad, he didn't get up when Emily called so now she is mine!" Rachel shouted

"Prove it," said Paul

Rachel smirked, and kissed my cheek. I scrunched up my nose, and pushed her away from me.

"No! You're wearing lipstick!" I groaned

"There! She's now mine!" Rachel laughed

Paul just growled, he got up and pulled me into his chest. He was warm, I relaxed against his touch. He smelled...good. He held me tighter, and put his face in my hair. I hugged him back, I don't know why.

"Before I forget, can you let me go Paul?" I asked

"Do I have to?" he grumbled

"Yes, you do. Because she needs to give the rest of us a hug." said Emily

He reluctantly let me go and I gave everyone else a hug. Paul pulled me so I was sitting on his lap, and kept his arms around my waist.

"...Artemis, we have something we need to tell you." said Sam

"Yes?" I said

"We're Werewolves," said Jacob

"We kill Vampires," said Jared

I blinked a few times,

"Is that why Edward was going to call you guys Mutts?" I asked

"You're pretty calm about this," said Rachel

"Not the first Supernatural creatures I've met." I shrugged

"Bella said Monsters, you don't think of Vampires and Werewolves as monsters?" Paul asked

"...You're not a monster, none of you are monsters. Trust me, I know a monster when I see one." I said

"Paul, you should tell her." said Sam

He nodded his head to the door, Paul stood up with me in his arms and walked out the door.

"Tell me what?" I asked

He didn't say anything, he just took me into the woods and placed me down, he grabbed my hand and we walked. He seemed to be thinking,

"Imprinting, it something a wolf does. Sam imprinted on Emily, Jared imprinted on Kim and Embry imprinted on Rachel...imprinting, is...it's like gravity isn't holding him to the earth anymore, it's her. She holds him to the earth, the Shape-shifter is bound to his imprint for the rest of his life. He will be anything for her, a brother, a friend or a lover. Everyone and everything else in his life becomes secondary, and only the imprintee is left to matter, leaving the shape-shifter with a deep need to do anything to please and protect his soulmate." he said

"...When I was leaving on the plane..." I said

"Yeah...it hurt, I felt like shit for the first two weeks. Then you called, and I felt a little better." he shrugged

Pain struck my chest, I stopped and squeezed his hand. I looked down,

"Crap," he grumbled

"I'm sorry, I...I'm not good for you, I'm..." I said

I let go of his hand and looked up at him with tears in his eyes.

"I'm a Monster, Paul. When I smelled Emily's blood, I wanted to bite her. When I smelled Rachel, I wanted to bite her. Same with Bella and Charlie, Billy...everyone but, you guys and the Cullens. There are times, when it's not bad...I'm a Monster, Paul." I said

"Trust me, you're-" he started

I took out my colored contact, and looked him in the eyes. His went wide in shock, he reached his hand out and held my cheek his thumb rubbed over my closed eye.

"How...but you..." he was confused

"I'm 2/3...I was bitten, Emmett tried to suck the Venom out, to save me from becoming a Vampire. He wasn't able to get all of it out. I get chest pains when I don't drink blood, I can't survive on just Food, or just Blood. I need both," I said

"Who bit you?" he growled, as his body shook

"The Vampire's dead....it was Victoria's mate.-Paul?-Aaah!" I screamed

He changed, I was knocked back. Pain was all I felt, as I screamed and cried out. I heard a whimper, and a howl before everything became dark.
