Pain.

I woke up in a Hospital, my right side burned. It hurt, so. I did what any normal person would do when they're in a lot of pain. I screamed, people came rushing in. I saw familiar golden eyes staring into my own. My body burned. I knew they were talking to me, but I could barely hear them. A hand touched mine, I turned my head slightly. It was Bella, she was rubbing her thumb over my hand in a soothing manner. The burning became less painful, her head turned to whoever was in the doorway, anger was on her face as she yelled at whoever it was. I felt pain in my chest.

"Paul! Calm Down!" Sam snapped

I moved my head, he and the others from the reservation were here, it was just them and the Cullen's.

"You know what she told me?!" he growled

"Paul...Shut Up." I croaked

I tried to sit up but it stung, Carlisle gently pushed me back down.

"You tell Dad?" I asked

"He's pretty pissed, Bella talked him out of going out to hunt the Bear that hurt you." said Billy

"Rene and Phil don't know, Bella though it would have been for the best." said Edward

"Tell Charlie to calm down, he doesn't have a right to be pissed." I said

I lifted my hand and pointed a finger at Paul.

"Chill out, I'm fine. I can't die that easy, ya know." I said

"Speaking of. If you don't get a scar, we'll have to fake your death." said Alice

"What." said Jacob

"Just dye my hair, I'll wear contacts and get piercings and a tattoo. Not that hard to disappear." I scoffed

"But-" said Alice

I stuck my tongue out at her,

"Ew!" said Emily

I put my tongue back in. I was getting hungry, and I couldn't see out of my right eye since it was wrapped. My full right side was.

"Excuse me, Carlisle. The test has come back...it was positive." a nurse said

"What test?" Rachel asked

"...Artemis, did you know?" said Edward

He stared at me, his back to everyone else as he glanced at my stomach. I sighed, and closed my left eye.

"I'm hungry, and tired. And my body is killing me." I complained

"Alright, I'll have a nurse bring you some food. And we'll get you on some pain killers. You should all head home, Paul. You can stay with her, just keep your temper in check." said Carlisle

"Edward...stay for a sec..." I croaked out

He nodded, everyone left. Paul said he couldn't stay, I knew he was pissed at himself for losing his temper.

"Bella needs to be with Charlie." I said

"You shouldn't tell him that, it'll break him." said Edward

"It'll help protect you guys...it will help protect the pack. He will go out, and he will go and try to kill Paul and the others. What other choice do I have." I said

"We have this covered," he said

He left after that, yeah. Like hell they do. I closed my eyes and took in a breathe, calming down my heart. I kept my eyes closed, as the machine flatlined. Carlisle rushed in, with the others. Jolts filled my body, but I kept my heart still.

"Artemis!" screamed Rachel

"Okay!" shouted Edward

I relaxed, the machine showing my heart was beating again. I opened my mouth and eye gasping for air. They helped me sat up as I panted, a bucket was placed in front of me as I threw up. That hurt,

~Time Skip, brought by Pain, without love~~!~

After a couple of weeks, I was allowed to leave but I couldn't move very well on my own just yet. I had help catching up with all the school work I missed while I was in the hospital. While I was on the road with Rene and Phil I did Online schooling, everything was transferred back to Forks High, so I'm going to be able to graduate from there with Bella. Lucky me.

I still felt pain, but it was more emotional than physical. Bella didn't want me anywhere near the guys, which hurt. I could also feel Paul's pain, his guilt.

So, I snuck out of the house. Edward knew, and he carried me to the border while Bella slept. I was thankful, Harry picked me up and brought me to Sam and Emily's. They were all apart of it, and said Paul was sleeping on their couch.

Emily smiled at me, and let me in. Harry left, I limped over to the couch and bent down. I gently touched Paul's shoulder, I shook it gently.

"Wakey, Wakey sleepy head.~" I snickered

"Go away Em," he grumbled

"...Do I look Tan to you?" I sassed

His eyes opened and he jumped up quickly. Falling back and tipping the couch with him. He groaned, Emily laughed and that woke up Sam. He chuckled and got the couch off of Paul. He hugged me tightly, which hurt. He pulled away and apologized.

"Gentle Paul," said Emily

He gently hugged me and apologized over and over again.

"Chill, it's fine...Charlie blames himself a bit, so he won't be out hunting for you guys." I said

"What happened?" Sam asked

"I told him I was out in the middle of the woods building a house, because I couldn't live under his roof." I said

"You didn't have to tell him that, it's..." said Emily

"Partially the truth. I am building a house in the middle of the woods because I can't live under his roof. But I wasn't there when I got hurt, so don't worry too much about it. Besides, Bella will be spending more time with him now anyways, at least that's what Edwardo promised me." I shrugged

Paul kissed my forehead, and gave me a sad smile.

"Does it still hurt?" he mumbled

"No. I'm not Fully Human, ya know. The only pain I felt, was yours." I said

"The Imprinting bond does work both ways," said Sam

They went to bed, and I laid on top of Paul on the couch. Going to sleep,
