Y/N walked out onto the deck, her face pale with beads of cold sweat running down it, and a hand over her mouth.
"Y/N? What's wrong?" Uma asked, flipping her blue braids over her shoulder.
"S-Sorry, Captain—I've just been so sick these past few days—throwing up, and all that," She replied, her voice breaking slightly as she spoke.
"Do you have any fever?" Uma leaned forward.
"No."
"Eat something bad?"
"No.""Cold?"
"No."
"Flu?"
"No."
Uma leaned back in thought, when her eyes went wide.
"What?" Y/N said in worry.
"H-Have you missed a period?"
Y/N's eyes fluttered around erratically—No. It can't be.
"Y-Yeah... Three times already," She stuttered, running her hands through her hair.
"Oh my god," Uma mumbled, embracing Y/N as she shivered. "Have you told Harry?"
"What? No! Why would I tell him? I didn't even know—what if he doesn't want me to have the baby? What if he leaves me? Rejects me?" She rambled, pacing across the deck, her boots thumping on the old wooden floorboards.
"Y/N? There ye are, I've been lookin' all over for ye—where've ye been?" A familiar Scottish voice spoke, making Y/N's heart beat faster than it was already.
"Just here and there," She replied.
"Bonnie, yer lookin' sick? What's up?" He said, embracing her and tilting her chin up.
"I—I uh—"
"—She ate bad fish, that's all, nothing to worry about, Harry. Now, don't you have to keep at your post, first mate?" Uma cut in, saving Y/N from the horrors she would have endured if Harry found out she was lying.
"Yes, ma'am. Y/N—see ye later, I guess?"
"Uh—yeah," She stuttered as he walked off to do whatever his duty called him to do.
Y/N clutched her abdomen, certain of the life growing inside of her. They had no pregnancy tests—but this was enough information to give the answer away.
Thoughts raced through her head.
Auradon.
She thought.
Auradon sends their cars to the Isle everyday, since Evie and Ben worked together to get all children on the Isle to Auradon.
"I just need to get to Auradon," Y/N mumbled under her breath, loud enough for Uma to hear.
"What? You can't leave us!" She shouted.
"The car leaves every day, every half hour. There's always one leaving. I just need to catch my ride." And with that, Y/N left Uma on the dock as she ran to her shared room with Harry and began packing the only bag that she had, leaving without a trace.
She carefully navigated through the winding alleyways of the Isle—careful not to bump into Harry—
"Y/N! Where are ye off to?"
"I'm going—to—Auradon," she heaved, tightening her grip on her bag's leather handles.
"Wha'?"
