November 2014

Jungkook, Yoongi and a couple of other friends were playing basketball in Seokjin's indoor basketball court while Jimin, Taehyung, and Hoseok sat on the benches and talked. Jimin watched as Jungkook was passed the ball, his hands wrapping around the ball. He stood straight and shot the ball into the net. Jimin clapped for him laughing at how badly his other friends were losing. Taehyung tapped Jimin on the shoulder and whispered: "Are you in love with Jungkookie, Jimin?"

In a way, Jimin knew that it was supposed to be a joke, but that didn't stop him from really thinking about the idea of him liking Jungkook in a more than friends way. Jimin watched Jungkook closely for a while but decided that was a dumb thing to think. Jungkook would never like him back that way. "It was a joke Jimin," Tae laughed slapping him on the shoulder.

Jimin decided to join in on the game of basketball, joining Yoongi's team. He attempted to help them lose a little less to Jungkookie. At one point Jimin had the ball and Jungkook was guarding him, and Jimin shoved him away, running to the basket and putting the ball in the net. He hadn't realized that he had knocked Jungkook flat on the ground. "Jungkookie, are you okay?"

"Yeah, I just need a little help up, please." Jimin walked over to him and held his hand out for Jungkook. The younger ended up pulling Jimin down with him and tickling his sides. Jimin started laughing as Jungkook continued to tickle his relentlessly.

Later that day, Jimin and Jungkook had decided to leave Seokjin's house and go to the park for a bit. Jungkook found himself running to the Merry-Go-round. But Jimin took his time. Jungkook sat and waited for him, watching Jimin silently as he walked towards Jungkook. The younger admired Jimin from afar. The way his Black, white, and orange sweater hugged his shoulders. The way his brunette hair had a perfect curl in the front like always. The pink in his face because of how cold it was outside. Jungkook was astonished at how good Jimin looked.

"Jungkookie, is that my hat you're wearing?" Jimin laughed, taking the hat from Jungkook's head and putting it on his.

 "Jiminie-hyung!"

"Complaining isn't going to get you anywhere Kookie."

"I can't stay long," Jungkook looked sad, so Jimin went over to him and gave him a big hug. Jungkook sighed into the hug and pulled Jimin in closer absentmindedly. He didn't know what he was feeling towards Jimin, but he liked the way it felt and welcomed the feeling. Even though he was scared out of his mind.

At school the next day Jungkook's class was forced to go to a seniors class to read their presentations out loud for their final project. But Jungkook didn't know that he'd be going to Jimin's class to do so. He found himself nervously sitting down at the desk beside Jimin as his teacher was calling names for who would go next presenting.

"What has got you so nervous Jungkookie?" Jimin whispered.

"I'm not sure actually. I shouldn't be nervous."

"Don't be, I'll be here the whole time okay?"

The teacher called out Jungkooks name and he stood, taking off his jacket feeling a little less hot. He walked up to the front of the class, feeling all eyes on him. But none of those eyes mattered to him except one pair. Jimin couldn't take his eyes off of Jungkook, and he did know the reason why. Maybe it was because when the younger took off his jacket earlier, Jimin could see the recently obtained muscle through Jungkook's shirt? Jimin kept his gaze on Jungkook the entire time he presented, carefully watching every single movement Jungkook made. When the younger finished, Jimin clapped and watched as he walked back towards him and took his seat.

"How was I?"

"You were amazing. You did amazing."
