The basement

The sound of dripping water echoed through out the entire basement. John and Charlotte held each other tightly with the fear of the unknown. Lloyd had gone out of the house for a few hours and their minds where filled with the horrible things he could be doing to Conner.

"We have to stop him somehow. We can't let him win." Charlotte said as she put her head on John's shoulder.

"I wish we could do something but I have been trying to get out since the second I got here and there is no way out. The bars are made of steel and there is no way we can break through them." John explained as he slowly stroked his wife's head for the first time in a long time.

"Even though we are going through such a tough time, I still can't believe you are alive. I have been praying for you to some how be alive and life without you was just so hard I was afraid that I could make it without you. There was even a point of time where I wanted to just....just....." Charlotte cried to John.

"It's okay. You are such a strong women. That's one of the many things I love about you. You are so amazingly strong. And the children are so lucky to have such an amazing Mother like you. " John said as he comforted Charlotte

"Oh John the children have been so great they have done so many things for this world. "

Charlotte went on to tell John about how they followed his old journal when they were after the wishing spell, how they defeated Ezmia and how they defeated the grande army.

"Wow we really do have amazing kids. They have grown so much and i missed it all because if Lloyd." John said

"Yes we do. Your Mother taught Alex everything she knows."

"Yeah. I know that she is smiling down on all of us from heaven."

Charlotte did a double take. "Wait how did you find out?"

"One day Lloyd came down to the basement and rubbed it in my face. He knew I loved my Mother very much. I cried for days knowing that he was the one who caused her death. " John explained.

It was at his moment something clicked in charlotte's head. "Wait if you are a Son of the
Fairygod Mother shouldn't you have magic in your blood? You can blast us out of here." Charlotte said with wide eyes.

"I've tried but I think all those years of not practising magic and something in this basement is not allowing me too."

"Maybe you can try-"

It was at this moment when they heard foot steps coming for the staircase.

"Well, I hope you two have caught up enough. Here is your food for the day. "

Lloyd then threw in some bread and two glasses of water into the cell. He slowly walked towards the stair case and climbed up a few steps so he was out of sight. He then waited for awhile before he heard a scream.

"JOHN! John wake up!"

Lloyd smiled as he walked back to the cell.

"What did you do to him?!"

"Oh I just put him in a little sleeping spell for a little while. But don't worry he will come back just maybe not as well as he is now."

He cuffed Charlotte to the rails of the cell before opening the door and dragging John out.

Lloyd undid cuffs and locked the cell door without saying another word.

Lloyd carried John on the back of his horse and rode deep into the woods.

He then came upon a cave and cautiously went in. That was when he saw Sarah sitting next to
A small bed and a small flask with a tube connected to it.

"Place him on the bed." Sarah ordered.

Once John was placed on the bed. Sarah placed another sleeping spell on John to make sure he stayed asleep.

She then took out a vial with a black substance inside it. She then poured a drop of the liquid on Lloyd's bare chest. She made a small cut on the side of where is heart was and stuck the tube in. Golden liquid then started pouring out and ran into the flask.

Lloyd stated in awe as the golden liquid mesmerised him. "What is that?" Lloyd asked with a curious tone.

"That is his magic along with a little of his youth since he is already a little old. This will give you his power and we take more from your Niece which will will make you unstoppable."

"Ok so what else do you need me to do?" Lloyd asked.

"Well this will take a couple of hours so the best thing now is to spy on your Niece and Nephew to see what their up to so we can make our next move."

Lloyd nodded, mounted his horse and rode off the get the job done. However once he was out of the cave Sarah opened the cork of the flask ,where johns magic was going into, and took out another vial. This vial had a orange substance inside. She then poured some of the magic out into a separate flask before pouring in the orange substance into the flask which she was going to give to Lloyd.

"Lloyd has no idea what is coming to him...." Sarah thought.
