In the fight between Yukimura Retsu and the Bandersnatch, retsu seems have a struggle with his performance, that villain is stronger than any bane in the game because there have multiple checks to defeat which is 6 or more and so far he only hurt the bandersnach with just 2 checks
"What's wrong boy? A Beast Kind got your tongue?"
"Shut up!"
Retsu have successfully Rolled 3 out of 8 times, if this keeps up he won't have enough health potion and Blessings to use, it's a good thing Aoki and Gourin supported him from a far by throwing off blessings, after that he tries again to roll the dice and the attack was a success 4 rolls down 11 to go
Aoki and gourin have arrived and rolls ahead successfully making the Bandersnatch weaker, with the three gathered up it's time to win this
"are you guys ready?"
"I'm in full MP"
"my Blessings are ready"

Retsu Successfully attacks it follows up with Aoki Overkill Strike from using 2 Blessings of Gorum, overkill happens if the dice the players rolls is 2 times the value of the required check to defeat the villain
"Don't use up all your blessings because this guy has something in his mind"
"you right about that! How about some smoke screen!"
The bandersnacth use smokescreen to protect him from combat checks if all players in the location fail the check the difficulty to attack is increase to 2, Retsu annoyed and feel the smoke through his lunges but gourin has a plan, he uses the Long lense to help them have a better chance in perception checks, retsu remembers that he found the guard troop that gives a 1 D6 to a perception check, so he summons the guard and it shouts
"don't worry general retsu we will spot him in seconds"
"ok let's roll!"
Retsu throws his dice with high hopes, and he did it!, and so does aoki and gourin then the bander snatch appears right behind them, the guard attacks first but the bandersnatch is too strong it flips the guard
"hey hang on!"
Retsu is confused why the troop just charging on like that, in the regular bases it suppose to be as a back liner, but no time to think about that now and start clearing this scenario, retsu purposed a plan an old trick that always work for the three of them
"hey ugly im your opponent here!"
"shut your mouth!"
Retsu going straight face to face with the bandersnatch, it attacks but what's this? Retsu used the Fort Shield, an heavy armor card that if buried it reduces the damage to 0 and brings a special debuff, the difficulty to attack is halfen
"Gourin go!"
Gourin successfully attacks and the bandersnacth is 2 checks away to be defeated but the debuff is almost expired, wait!
"Aoki finished it!"
The bandersnatch laughs to thinks that he could end it but wait! Gourin and retsu spend all of their blessings and as insurance aoki throws away his weapon, the bandersnatch can't believe it that he is defeated by a player for the first time
"you win this, but sadly the other players have failed the other fight, we came in forces but lucky for you you defeat one of me"
"what do you mean"
"we will destroy this cursed game and...."
"ugh he's dead right at the middle"
"Don't worry brother aoki, look at the bright side we finished our first scenario"
"even though im as loss as you aoki but gourin is right, let's go back"
So the city is now uncloaked and they again see the players and NPC's filling the walk way, but what's this some of them feel depressed gourin asks a player what happened
"you see that scenario with the bandersnatch was too hard there were two of them that we need to take down but even a party of 6 can't handle them, we running out of time before we knew it and they ran away"
"what isn't it a little bit too much?"
"don't worry the devs put down that quest and added a substitute that called 'the heroes of the old world' that wants you to hired the required number of troops to complete it"
"so you guys got the Class promotion?"
"yup, thanks to the devs but we still bumped about the bandersnacth"
"that's good, well thanks for the news"
"well what's the matter gourin"
"it's weird brother aoki, it seems we are the only one who fought just one of the bandersnatch"
"I have a bad feeling, and it isn't my dinner this time"
"ew"
They logged out normaly because they have school tomorrow gourin thought they going to stuck at the game forever
