I open the door, and a little girl with light blue eyes, and a pretty yellow dress smiles up at me. "Are you Blake?" A women, with yellow hair, asks me. "Yeah," I answer. "My name is Rebecca, i'm Louis' sister. This is his daughter Daisy," Rebecca says. "Hey Daisy, its nice to meet you," I say, stepping to the side so they could come in. They walk in and walk over to the dinning room. "He told me it was okay if we stay here for a week," Rebecca says. "Both of you?" I ask confused. "Yeah, he didn't tell you?" she asks. "No, he just said Daisy was coming," I say. Rebecca face drops, and she picks up her bag. "You can stay. I have plenty of space for the both of you," I say, and she smiles.

"I have to go to the restroom," Daisy says. I walk Daisy over to the bathroom, and she closes the door. "Thank you for letting us stay," Rebecca says. "It's not a problem," I say. "Do you own this entire house?"  she asks, looking around. "Yeah, I own this whole land," I say, smiling. Rebecca looks around in awe. "It's so beautiful," she says. Daisy opens the door, and begins running around. "Daisy, sit down," Rebecca says, grabbing her arm. "Ouch," Daisy says, rubbing her arm. Rebecca walks to the bathroom, and closes the door. "Are you hungry? " I ask. Daisy nods, and we walk into the kitchen. I grab her a sandwich out of the fridge, and give her an apple juice. I hear a loud scream, and then a bang. Daisy starts crying, and I pick her up.

I rub Daisy on her back, and press the security button. The head security guard, Aston, comes in. "There was a scream, and a bang in the front. Make sure to look for Rebecca," I say, watching him walk away. Daisy continues crying, and I rub her back to soothe her. Aston comes back into the kitchen with Rebecca in front of him. "I didn't see anything, but she was locked in the restroom," Aston says. "Okay, thanks," I say,and Rebecca sits down. Daisy stops crying, and I sit her back in the chair. "Can I talk to you?" I ask Rebecca, and she nods. We walk back to the kitchen, and I let out a deep breath. "Can you tell me what's going on?" I ask her, running my hands through my hair.

"When Lucas left to find housing down here, he gave me custody of Daisy, and every month he would send money for clothing, food, etc. One day I went to check the mailbox, and there was no money, so I called him. He never answered. The same night, when I was watching the news, I find out he's in jail. The rent was due the following week, and the landlord hated us. After a few days, we got put out, and we drove down here to see him in jail. He told me about you,and here we are," Rebecca says. "Wow," I say, and smile. Lewis walks in the front door. "Hello, Ms. Kendrick," he greets. I wave him over to me. "This is Rebecca, Lucas' sister, and she is going to be staying with us. Daisy, his daughter, is also here, and she's gonna be staying with us as well," I say. Lewis makes a face at me, but greets our guest anyway.

Daisy runs out of the kitchen, and over to her aunt. "Can you show them to their rooms please," I say,and walk to the kitchen. I open the fridge, and take out my Vodka. I grab a glass, and fill it up halfway, then add some cranberry juice. "Do you think that drinking. is gonna solve your problems?" Lewis asks, taking the glass from me.  "Yes," I reply. reaching for the glass. He pours it down the drain, and my heart breaks. "Wrong answer," Lewis says. I roll my eyes, and grab the vodka bottle. I take a big gulp, and place the bottle down. I cough loudly, and my throat burns. "Thank you," I say, grabbing the water bottle from Lewis. He's laughing.

I take a seat at the counter, and sip from my water. "Do you trust these people?" Lewis asks. "Yeah," I say. "What if she tries to rob us?" he asks. "You're paranoid," I say, and stand up. "You need to be careful," he says, shaking his head. "What was I supposed to do Lewis? Deny them some place to stay and let them sleep on the street?" I ask. "Yea," Lewis says. "Wrong answer," I say, and exit the kitchen.

                                                          (The Next Day)

I open the door to my room, and Daisy runs in. "Hey," Daisy says, jumping on the bed. "Hey," I say. "Are you my daddy girlfriend?" she asks, still jumping. "No, we're just friends," I say, and laugh. "You're so pretty, I wish you was my mommy," Daisy says. "You're pretty too," I say. "Can you be my mommy?" Daisy asks, "My mommy died when I was a baby," I sit on the bed, and pat the spot next to me. Daisy sits down.

"You're auntie is your new mommy," I say. Daisy lets out a breath. "She's gonna leave me, daddy told me," she says, and looks at her feet. "If she does, then I'll be your mommy," I say. "You're gonna leave, like everybody," she says, wiping her eyes. "I promise I'll be here forever," I say, and kiss Daisy's forehead.

Daisy jumps off the bed, and runs out of the room. I head downstairs, grab my car keys, and head to the city. I pull out my phone & call Liam.

I put the phone down, and pull up to Kelvin's new house. I sit in the driveway, and stare at the door. Kevin walks outside, and gets in the passenger seat. "Thank you for meeting me," Kevin says. I nod. "My lawyer told me that you two were going out on a date tonight," Kevin says. "Why is that your business?" I ask. "He's my lawyer Blake," Kevin says. I smile, and say," She was my best friend Kevin." He doesn't respond. "Why do you always bring that up?" he asks. "It seems like I have to continue to remind you that we aren't together anymore, and I'm a grown ass women. I do what I want, you have no say so over what happens in my life. You ruined that chance. You can't tell me who to date, I date who I want. At least I waited until the marriage was over to date your lawyer. Dismiss your ass out my fucking car now," I say, and unlock his door. "Okay Blake, you're right," he says, and exits my car. I let out a deep breath, and pull out.
