Ever After {Sequel to Love} (Laito Sakamaki x Reader)

A Day's Time Chapter 1

We hugged tightly then I felt a hand on my shoulder it was Laito.

(L):"I've said my peace ready to head out?"

(Y/N):"Yeah I'm ready"

We walked to the taxi and watched everyone wave us off then we headed off to the airport; as we started to drive away from the manor I began to feel sad this had become my life for nearly a year now and now that I am leaving it feels so weird.

(L):"You know were coming back right?"

(Y/N):"Yes I know but it still feels weird leaving after spending so much time there"

(L):"Well we won't be gone forever so for now just relax"

With those words Laito grabbed my hand then kissed it which made smile I still can't believe everything that has happened between us and I can't believe how it all started but I will never forget what brought me to them in the first place.

=====FLASHBACK=====

I was in my bedroom when suddenly I heard a loud bang I rushed downstairs to see my father lying on the ground with my mother beside him with a gun pointed to her head I ran to my room and grabbed a bag and decided to escape out the window I was so close but I dropped a picture off my desk; I heard one of the men coming up the stairs I ran as fast as I could into a forest about ten minutes away but the man was so fast and right on my tail.

I thought it would be a good idea to hide somewhere I noticed a large tree up ahead and decided to quickly but quietly rush over there I just sat there for about ten minutes waiting for him to leave, I could hear his heavy feet breaking branches near me and he kept saying:

(Man):"Come here little girl"

(Man):"I won't hurt you I promise"

He finally left I had to make sure I was quiet as possible just in case that man was still nearby, after wondering for about half an hour I found the gate to a manor it looked old but it was all I had left so I decided to enter the gate.

=====END OF THE FLASHBACK=====

(L):"Hey Kitty~ we're here" He was waving his hand in front of my face

(Y/N):"Oh yeah? That was quick" I look around to see that he wasn't kidding we we're at the airport

(L):"Heh~ you were just looking out the window the whole time"

(Y/N):"I was? Oh I'm sorry"

(L):"It's ok Kitty~ let's go enjoy our honeymoon"

(Y/N):"I can't wait"

=====3 Weeks Later=====

Meanwhile in the manor things haven't stayed the same a new family has decided to make a guest appearance and bring some trouble with them.

(?):"We need Eve"

(A):"No way in hell are you coming near her!"

(?):"But she is precious to us and we need her"

(A):"Not as much as we need Pancake here"

(Yui):"What is going on?"

(A):"Get back and stay away from them"

(R.):"I suggest you leave now before things get worse"

(?):"Very well, let's go"

(?):"What!"

(?):"Now"

(Sub):"Stupid half breeds"

(R.):"I don't think this will be the last time we see those pathetic excuses for vampires"

(Shu):"Let's just continue what we were doing and deal with them when they come back"

(Sub):"Tsk~ lazy ass"

As the brothers continued what they were doing like Shu suggested Yui decided to make a call to her good friend and ask for some help.

(Y/N):"Hello?"

(Yui):"Y/N! How has the trip been?"

(Y/N):"Great so far, is everything ok?"

(Yui):"Yeah everything is great just miss you that's all"

(Y/N):"You sure? You said you would only call if there was an emergency or something happened"

(Yui):"Um-I need you to come back"

(Y/N):"What?

At that moment Laito came up behind me and looked concerned

(L):"Everything ok?"

(Y/N):"Its Yui apparently stuff has been going on at the manor"

(L):"And were supposed to do what about it?"

(Y/N):"She wants us to go back to the manor"

I said trying to hide my happiness at the thought

(L):"Is it that bad or is it you just have been missing Y/N and are trying to spoil all the fun we've been having?"

Laito said after he grabbed the phone from my hand

(Yui):"I'm not asking for attention I'm being serious"

(L):"We will see in a days' time if it's really important and if it is just a false alarm Nfufu~ you're gonna pay Little B****"

(Yui):"Wow haven't heard that one in a while"

(A):"If you lay a hand on her!"

(L):"Jealous much?"

(A):"Are you forgetting that you're supposed to be loyal"

(L):"Oh I am but who said we couldn't have fun all together"

(A):"You're disgusting" But in a lower voice he said "we will talk about that later"

(L):"Nfufu~ you're on"

With that he hung up the phone and turned to me

(L):"I guess this honeymoon has come to an end"

(Y/N):"I guess so it was so fun while it lasted"

(L):"Nfufu~ I'm sure we could recreate some of the memories from this trip if you really miss it that much"

With that comment I felt my face go red but I couldn't help but smile then Laito grabbed my chin and kissed my lips as sad as it is to go I'm excited to see everyone again, but my only fear is will I still have my old job? Or will things be changed now that Yui is back?
