Chapter 11: More Bombshells

Nadison’s POV

“Nadison, did you hypnotize Ash?”

“No I didn’t!” I cried to one of the mean girls, and walked through them as fast as I can.

Geez.

When will they stop? Until Ash kills me?

God.

I went to my usual spot where I am supposed to find Amber.

Sadly she’s not here.

Worried, I called her with my phone.

Finally, she answered.

“What’s your problem?”

I was staggered by her words.

“Please Amber, I am worried about you, what happened to you?” I asked.

“Stop thinking about me, think about yourself!!” she cried and put her phone down.

Oh my God.

I went to my staffers at the office and just asked where she was. 

No one knew but…

“I saw her toddling around the gym.”

Josh said, tossing his gym bag to the side, about to continue his assigned paper work.

I ran as fast as I can. I went through the entrance and saw some athletes doing gym practice. But Ash wasn’t there, I assumed he was outside.

I saw Amber sitting alone at the bleachers, biting back in tears.

Sitting beside her,

“What’s wrong Amber?”

“Nothing! Leave me alone!”

“WHY? What did I ever do to you?” I probed.

She just stood up and tried exiting the gym. I ran after her and held her shoulder. She rapidly faced me,

“You know what Nadison Rose Riley?! Our friendship is OVER!” she yelped, echoing the whole gym. Then she pushed through the exit doors.

I sat suddenly on the floor, weeping.

What did I ever do to her?!!

*sniff* I got my things and exited.

I went back to the office and opened my lappy, still teary-eyed.

“Oh, what’s wrong Nadison?” Eddie asked me.

“Nothing…” I sniffled focusing on my laptop.

“It’s Amber isn’t it?” he simply said.

“How did you know again?”

“Many heard her in the gym and so we heed…”

“Alright, alright, I know….” I interrupted him.

“I didn’t do anything to her, promise!” I stated.

“We believe you…” my staffers continued to comfort me. They knew I can’t trick Amber or do something horrible to her.

What did I ever do to her?!

After finishing our work, I waved them goodbye, and thanked them for their help. I headed to my locker and placed some of the articles.

After I was all alone, my tears began to flood again. I tried to wipe my eyes every single time, but no matter what I do, they’re flowing like waterfalls.
