"It's dangerous, Theo. Let's go home." Stiles said scared.
"Don't be such a pussy, Stiles. It's fun." Theo said leaning over a very unstable bridge.
Overlooking the rough water.
"I'm not a pussy, Theo. Stop. I just...value life is all."
Stiles said sarcastically.
"You won't die. But someone else did." Theo said eerily with a little creepy laugh.
"Really?" Stiles swallowed.
"That's what they say. Rumor has it...This older girl got in this huge fight with her boyfriend because she was pregnant and he killed her and threw her off the bridge. She drowned. And on the anniversary of her death you can hear choking and the splash as the body hit the water. Over and over...again." Theo spun his creepy story. "Boo!"
"Ahh! I hate you." Stiles pouted.
"You love this stuff. Admit it."
Theo teased.
"No, I don't." Stiles laughed.
"Liar. Let's pay our respects and just go before you wet yourself." Theo said shoving his brother playfully. Stiles rolled his eyes and they dropped a flower in the water that they stole from the neighbor's garden. Looking down at them.
"Aces, ghost bitch." Stiles said as he walked off gingerly.
"It's deuces, you idiot."
Theo laughed.
"Whatever. So was any of that crap real?" Stiles asked. Touching solid ground, finally.
"Would I ever lead you astray?" Theo asked running across to tousle his brother's hair.
"Yes." Stiles said innocently.
"I'm hurt. So how mad do you think mom and dad will be?" Theo asked.
"Absolutely furious. And I'm blaming you, dickhead." Stiles said.
"Right back at you, little bitch." Theo said. They both laughed. Stoning a wasps nest on the way home.

Stiles woke up from his dream.
A dream he had about someone he once knew as a child.
Why now? Why him?
What was this gut feeling he was having that chaos was coming.
Despite his screaming instinct, Stiles shook it off and went downstairs.
"Morning dad." Stiles said warmly.
"Good morning, Stiles." His dad said with a kiss to his forehead.
He and his father were as close as close could be. Especially since Stiles' adopted mom was incarcerated and it was basically them.

After breakfast, Stiles picked up his best friend Scott and his girlfriend Malia. And his girlfriend's best friend Kira. The jeep was packed.
Stiles had tons of friends and healthy relationships now.

At school, his History teacher commended him on a job well done, regarding his latest project.
Making them collectively groan. He could at least be bad at school!

So, yeah. Life was good for Stiles Stilinski.
Until French class.
And those 5 words that would damn the rest of Stiles life from then on...were uttered.
"Class, This is Theo Raeken."

"Mind if I sit?" Theo asked Stiles.
"Go ahead." Stiles invited.
This was the first time meeting the guy, so why...did Stiles feel that he knew him?
