Chapter Three: A Burnt out Rose

That morning I woken up to screams on pain I bolted down towards Damon's room only to see Rose in his bed coughing up blood as he glared at me saying, "It's going to pass huh?" "It always does for me, I promise." As I told him this he just focus on Rose who looked horrible. I sighed then went to my room where I found a note from Caroline, Dear Vita, Sorry I had to go but I had to talk to Tyler. but I left you a copy of the journal entries. See you soon Caroline  I flipped the note over to see the copy just like she had said in her note. I started to cry again for that day, I just kept to myself however when I heard crashing sounds I ran out of my room only to see Rose escaping. I ran after her only to lose sight of her I started looking for her until I later joined my older brother and Elena we now found her feeding on a woman, "Rose!" She snapped back crying I hugged her worried when we returned home Damon took her to his room then staked her afterwards he took her to shreif Forbes later I found him drunk, "Damon!" "You! This your fault!" "What?" I said with tears forming in my eyes, "You lied lied you said that she was going to be fine buts shes dead and it's your fault!" "Damon I-" "Just shut up and leave." I was crying now I ran away, when I was crying in a park on a park bench i heard someone ask, "Are you alright?" I gasped when I saw one on the original vampires, Elijah. "Wh-What are you doing here?" I asked fearfully as he calmly said, "I was on my way to the flat I was staying when I heard crying. Curious, I went to see what it was." "Oh." I said stupidly as he gave me a curious look then sat down next to me, "May I asked what is troubling you?" "Oh it's my brother. I told him while glancing down, I told him something I thought was true but it wasn't, so now he's upset." What was it?" "I thought werewolves couldn't kill vampires but apparently they do." "What made you think that?" I heard him ask, "Because I've been bitten by werewolves countless times." "What happened when you did?" He asked me as I answered, "I was in pain, I threw up blood and hallucinated. I told him while thinking then added, I think the worst of it was when I had collapsed but when I had awoken I was fine just like any other time. I told him confused he was for a moment then spoke. "That is very odd but it would make sense for you to believe that." "Thanks. I said with a soft smile, "Not at all. Now tell me, where are you planning stay for the night?" "Um, here?" I said shyly as he sighed then told me, "Very well you may stay with me for the night." "Well I um-" Please, I can not allow anything to happen to Elena's loved ones." "Oh okay then." "Follow me." He told while leading me to an apartment building. When we went inside he offered me anything to eat but I politely declined. He then offered me his room but I refused however he insisted so I accepted.
